Yarn Tales & Threads (Knitting & Crochet)
Добавлен 1 окт 2023
I’m offering a user-friendly approach to knitting and crocheting with tutorials and project ideas.
My goal is to make working with yarn easy to learn and encourage an enjoyable experience. One might say, "Let's make it easy and fun." It’s possible to discover your true character as you knit, a discovery of who you are. Let’s journey together. I share my tales in yarn, knitting and crochet and you can share yours with me. Cheers!
Come along with me and embark on a new adventure.
I’m a retired counsellor and just because I’ve retired from counselling doesn’t mean that I’ve switched off that part of my brain. Occasionally I may share some of the parallels between the psychology and yarn crafts (Knitting & Crocheting). In life, as is true of any yarn craft, we experience turns and twists, get knots and at times enjoy a smooth process. We're attracted to certain things, pick it up, use it, not sure why we did that, set it down, and later return to it as if it was a new love.

They also make a decorative piece set in a wood bowl or crocheted basket (I have some crocheted baskets and will share that in another video). I’m a fairl...

Obscene knitting phone call, hang up
Просмотров 11Год назад
I didn’t know that these kind of obscene phone calls still happened, on a cell phone no doubt. No harm done. My mom used to blow a whistle into strange phone calls. As soon as she knew the call was a prank or unwanted she’d blow the whistle into the receiver and hang up. Smart lady. Meanwhile, if you want to know more about beginning knitting, stay tuned.

Hi Sue. I live in New Zealand and have found your podcast. If you are still trying to decide about using another colour what about a light grey. ❤
Hey Lorraine, nice to meet you. I like the idea of a light grey. That would make for a subtle edge. Thanks for your suggestion. We have family and friends in Australia. They all live near Melbourne. We visited the area a couple years ago. It’s a long way to travel but worth the trip. Have you ever visited Canada?
@@CounselorSuefunknits no I haven't been to Canada but would love to visit some day.
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced knitter, this technique is quick to learn and adds the perfect amount of stretch to your work.
Looks like fun.
Thank you for sharing and commenting. Did you know we both have the same last name? do I know you? …lol…
So proud of you!! Love this!
Thank you so much for subscribing to this newer channel “Yarn tales…” It will be interesting to see how well it does. I’ve learned a lot in the past year about techniques and ways to promote one’s channel. I hope the ideas work. I’m part of a group for young RUclipsrs, young in the sense of creating a new channel. It’s called Creator Boost Tribe and it’s a fellow RUclipsr support group. Plus Alexa who started the group offers various tutorials and videos on how to promote your channel. I think you can find it at www.skool.com/creator-boost-3367 If you join, let me know.
Hello! I am a retired mom too! Soon to be retired teacher. In the last year I have become a lover of shawls. So happy to have found your channel. Best wishes from Margaret (My Wonderful knitting Life podcast)!
I actually subscribed to your channel some time ago. I see that you viewed my channel. Did you subscribe? …lol… it’s free… Just starting out with this channel separating it from a channel I have that has morphed into outdoor topics. The fans determined that one. Cheers.
Yes, I did subscribe and I am enjoying your channel very much. I was not aware that you have another channel. What is the name of it? I have a second as well called, Cozy Cottage Hideaway. Happy Knitting!
