  • Late June, 2024. Runoff is in full swing in Colorado, and it is hard to find fishable waters. With limited time and options I decided to head to a popular tailwater in hopes for better flows. It wasn't easy (at least for me), but I managed to land some beautiful specimen!

It's hard to fish tenkara in such high and powerful water. Kudos to you , landed a good size brown

Very nice video! I’m especially impressed with your tenkara success - not exactly ideal tenkara conditions.

I was at the south Platte a week ago , it was ripping, 900 plus. I had no luck, however I saw two Moose. I’ve been fishing down there for at least 6 years and that was the first time seeing moose.

Ya flows were crazy. I was lucky! Moose sighting though might be as good as catching a nice fish:)
