Raging River - Dry Dropper, Streamer, and Tenkara Fly Fishing In Colorado

Late June, 2024. Runoff is in full swing in Colorado, and it is hard to find fishable waters. With limited time and options I decided to head to a popular tailwater in hopes for better flows. It wasn't easy (at least for me), but I managed to land some beautiful specimen!

It's hard to fish tenkara in such high and powerful water. Kudos to you , landed a good size brown

I was at the south Platte a week ago , it was ripping, 900 plus. I had no luck, however I saw two Moose. I’ve been fishing down there for at least 6 years and that was the first time seeing moose.

Ya flows were crazy. I was lucky! Moose sighting though might be as good as catching a nice fish:)
