On this adventure i take you guys to the world famous russian river ferry campground to fish the upper kenai river and russian river at the time of filming zone b is not open for sport fishing and the limit is 3/6. In this video i share some informoration on the campground to those who are interested in going, tackle and gear, and what to expect when fishing the water!     Thanks for showing where to go for us newbies….I was just out in Seward doing a halibut charter two dudes caught buts over 120 lbs. we all caught limit.

    Good job brother! Do you like a 10 wt. over a 9 weight fly rod for reds? Also, does the fly hook have to be long like the ones you tie, or is the only restriction that the gape has to be 3/8" ? Thanks man!! Go get some more!!!!!!!

      Hey thanks for the question so I seen a lot of people break 8wt rod that why I went with a 10wt on the kenai your not just fighting the fish your also fighting the current , my 10wt has done An amazing job , for the hook it doesn’t have to be a Russian river fly but it does have to have some kinda yarn or hair on it as long as it has a 3/8 gap people I know has used a circle hook
