- Heavy rains in St. Vincent, overnight Wednesday, April 28, 2021 resulted flooding and landslides in various parts of the island Thursday morning, April 29, 2021.
Landslides in Rockies, on the outskirts of Kingstown, destroyed two houses.
Dexter Lewis and the five other members of his household, as well as Ian Edwards, and his six-member family, including a 3-month-old baby, lost everything when their homes were destroyed by landslides.

If there is one thing I can say about Caribbean people's attitude and that is we are always thankful to God no matter what happens. We are always ready to support each other and pick ourselves up..we are resilient!!

My country! I want to say that I love this man's attitude to the whole situation is great and he is such a great representation of what resilience and calm of Vincy people. They just lost their home and was able to keep so calm just thinking about their family and even the kids are able to smile. No matter what will will push through. May God and other Vincentians find ways to build up this man and our country
