Check the manual first, how change mode receiver and transmitter then try to connect, if it is selected receiver mode, you can connect this device to audio player via Aux cable then you can connect mobile Bluetooth to this device, then play music on mobile to stream in audio player.( In receiver mode, it receives the audio signal via bluetooth and it gives Aux-out. In transmitter mode, it transferred the audio signal from aux-in to bluetooth steam to bluetooth headphone or bluetooth speaker).
