Well it took me 10 minutes to mount it. Maybe 30 minutes to adjust so my 20 yard pin and my laser were aligned on paper. Mind you I did the leveling with my 2nd and 3rd axis when I mounted the sight. Did it with a level. Perfect. Once I shot the bow and made sure my 20 yard pin was dialed in, I did have to make a few adjustments to the sight rail to make sure the laser was still in line. Then I was done. The laser is only bent to stay there for dialing in. It’s meant to be removed as the range finder uses its own non projected laser for range finding. Nothing visual. Therefore it’s legal in all states. I’ve shot this thing for a while now and it works beautifully. And sure if you’re in the brush it’s gonna give you a bad reading. But so will you hand held. Understanding the instructions is the first thing to do. Rather than bashing a product for not understanding it. Works perfectly as designed.

What happens when you have to change your sight alignment to get a good paper tune? Can the rangefinder be moved without changing the sights?

I can’t see the range at full draw. How do I correct that?

I understand that this sight has 2nd and 3rd axis adjustments on it. Is this correct and wouldn't you set these axis prior to aligning the laser range finder? This would have helped me out last year on a big mulie buck that bounded a half dozen strides after being at full draw. I had to let down and range find again. He decided not to stick around while I came to full draw again.

Does the range finder compensate for height angle when using from a elevated stand?

  • @pehenryjr

I had such a terrible time setting mine up yesterday. I used the rear mounting holes and was not able to get the laser to go down further than the top of the calibration target that it comes with.

Bought the first 5 pin and then the 2nd 7 pin. Hoping the 7 pin would be improved, but it was not. The rangefinder displays end up being hidden by the riser after getting dialed in, having to move the sight all the way to one side (right). Tried on three different bows from PSE, Diamond and Bowtech. So, too much money gone and down to a plain sight with no rangefinder. Surprised how they can allow such a faulty piece of equipment hit the market. Also on the 7 pin I removed the top pin, because you can't see anything around the pin as it sits directly under the retina lock.

I have my bow and laser sighted in at 20 yards but at full draw you can't see the range finder screen due to its location. Any suggestions.

Great help Ryan! These look sick and I’m sure I’ll fill the freezer this winter with this thing! 🤙
I have yet to pick mine up though I have ordered it already.
    Just a few quick questions-
If the visible laser is mounted to the bottom of the scope housing, would it not be fixed at the optimal distance (like on the target paper provided)? Just trying to wrap my head around how the fixing process to the riser would change or alter the projected lasers path if it has been fixed to the scope itself.
Secondly- I love to use 7 pins in my sight though it’s not a “MUST HAVE”, is there any ability to add two extra pins?
Finally- on the scope assembly is there just a windage adjustment or is there a “slide tool” that allows me to shift the scope entirely in order to align the sight to my bows centre shot?
I did see your screw adjustment advice but wasn’t sure if that’s what I’m thinking about.
Thanks again, super excited for this thing to come hunting with me!
    Have a great day!

Don't forget that, the downside of this sight is that you have to have a clear open shot, if the range finder lazer hit a brush and that will mess up with your yard.
