This is an awesome event. One of my Guildies and I ran around hitting world bosses last night and just kept racking up the boxes. Great way to get stuff.
My favorite event in all year. Before Zen was undaundted, but Zen is the crafters, guildtraders and farmers event. OUR EVENT! Zen Bless Us, i hope all u get juicy parcels and many $$$.
Picked up all 3 IC polymorphs (and around 50 set piece unlocks) from the random bags for about half the cost of buying just 1 direct. Definitely recommend this method to buying direct.

I'm looking forward to the farming guide! My boyfriend and I have just been running between a specific world boss and dolmen because it seems like there's some sorta cooldown on box drops when we try the Alik'r triangle
Jake, FYI, I remember this event being great for Motif's, alas; having opened 2 perfected and close to 100 normal Zen boxes so far, I have yet to score a single Motif. So it seems the Motif drop rate has also been nerfed with this event, that or I am just really unlucky this year.

I need to make about $700,000 in the next few days (ha!) to get the Grand Psijic Villa - do you recommend buying items with AP and selling for gold? Looking for a fast way to make big bucks.
So you mentioned a bunch of sets you can buy with ap but never told us where to buy them and I'm not seeing anything online with a location listed to buy deadly with ap.

1 master writ per crafting skill- so 7 per day if you have the selection of writs to take advantage, still not great, but not terrible.
