- ***Today we are taking a look at the Samsung Galaxy S3 that originally came out back in 2012. With an easily overclockable Quad Core CPU, 1GB of RAM, 64GB on board storage, & Bluetooth for only $20 it seems like the perfect contestant for a DIY portable emulator. Lets see if the Galaxy S3 can take the crown from the PSP for best handheld emulator (Price to Performance).

i got one for 30.00 it was a verizon plan one :( it was in minty shape though :)
How is it lagging this bad for you? I remember being able to play ps1 games @55-60fps on a 1.6ghz cpu and 640mhz on the gpu. Heck Asphlat 8 ran between 25-30 fps.
This is probably a stupid question but I don't know much about rooting. Did you actually root the device in this video or was it already rooted?
But this video is from 2019. He can predict the future.
Buy Galaxy S3 LTE and performance will be a little better with 2gb ram. Or buy any cheap device like moto g5 with adreno 505 mand you can play MGS Peace Walker in 30 fps. Tested by myself.
For now i use Snapdragon 665 device. Everything up to 3ds its emulate fine.
Some Gamecube games too.
Two 3ds games work on full fps on citra mmj. Animal Crossing, and Harvest Moon 3d anb.
What kind the s3 do you have ? I'm a s3 i747m no root , it's lagg on Ps1 tenken 3

Question. If I happen to have those emulators on my pc,can I download them directly to phone after setting up tutorial? Instead of looking for an emu site.
All the emulators used in this video can be found in the play store. They used all the free emulators available to create this video. Also if you mean you have roms (game files) yes you transfer those over from your computer onto the phone or an sd card. Place them in a folder name roms then open the emulator you want to use and find that folder
