You are so sweet!! Thank you. We loved exploring Finland. Such a beautiful country and such kind people. OF COURSE we appreciate what you guys have. Who wouldn’t?? 😂🥰 Where in Finland are you from??
We definitely recommend going north during the season and trying to see them! It is so beautiful and seems like a dream🤗 also Santa Clause village was a fun magical place as well! Thanks for all your support friends🥰
The videos rarely do justice to the northern lights. But we know how they look. It was special to see your reaction to them. 😊 And santa gave Reyka a gift early. I suppose the hubby needs to comply to Santa's mandates and give her a weekly massage. ;)
Totally agree that videos can have a hard time capturing the lights especially iPhones but I am so happy you enjoy our reactions🤗🤗 we love your comments and support and really appreciate it❤️ Also I have been telling Wyatt the same thing! He definitely has to give me massages everyday hahaha 😂
Not really, they were in Rovaniemi obviously in the autumn, you can see the snow melting off the road. In the middle of the winter, in the high season of turists, in the Christmas time there is only 2 and a half an hour daylight and waaaayyyy more snow. Also it is much more cold in the middle of the winter, like -10 to -25 Celsius.
Hahaha sounds cold and dark but we loved the northern lights so maybe we will just do a work-cation somewhere north and edit during the day, and photograph/video the lights at night@@mantailuaa
Right?! It was sooo beautiful. And thank you! For recording the lights we just used our iPhone 14 Pro! Worked well although we’d love to go again and find some better lights
We didn’t have any snow boots and were actually ok. However the snow was not super high yet by that point. If you are worried about getting your feet wet, bringing boots might be a good idea.
Nice video! Pssst let's not tell anyone, but I can tell you a secret. That polar circle line in Santa Claus village is fake. The actual polar circle is about 2 kilometers north from there but it's swamp, so the village was built there on the stable ground where it is. The polar circle also moves about 15 meters per year because the axle of the Earth is wobbling. The cycle is about 41000 years and in that time the polar circle moves within 250 kilometers!
Oh really?! That's wild! If we didn't post this video, we wouldn't have learned that so I'm thankful we did. How do you know so much about finland? And thank you very much for watching we're so glad you enjoyed 🥰
@SirWavy-vq8rh Rovaniemi is 850 kilometers north from where I live and because my kids are adults already, I haven't seen that old white-bearded guy for years 😃
Another secret is that Santa Claus actually lives in Korvatunturi, inside of one of Finland's national parks, near the Russian border. Think of Santa's Village as like his office.😉
Glad you enjoyed the video! It is called the Santa Clause Village and it’s in Rovaniemi Finland! We loved our time there and definitely recommend take care🤗🤗
It was in October! November should definitely have snow and Christmas vibes! We loved our stay there and hope you enjoy yours 🥰 let us know if you have any questions🤗
Thank you so much for your awesome video, at Lapland, well done so sons are going in Feb, next year for 4 nights, one question, Is there a heater in the cabin, silly question, ha ha

@@WyattandReyka No but close about 110 kilometers south from it. Lived closer as a child though. You should come back in mid winter next time.

Hi, guys, thank you for this video. Can I ask you about shoes . Was it cold in your baskets or you had other kind of shoes for longer walk in snow?
We didn’t have any snow boots and were actually ok. However the snow was not super high yet by that point. If you are worried about getting your feet wet, bringing boots might be a good idea.
