The uppers were tall for 85's as well, but it depended on the factory. the BY factory produced some of the tallest uppers. TY1 and TH also had some tall uppers. STP had the shortest uppers for 85 OG's... The uppers on your pair remind me more of the BY factory than it does a 94 pair
The shape, including the toe box is exact to an ‘85 Chicago. Not what you see on the ‘85 Neutral Grays.
Yup got mine to they are remarkable vrl killed them the reimagineds are trash I ordered mine in April before he started the design …. Jot em 2 weeks ago and they are just absolutely amazing

I wear a 12 in AJ4, 11.5 in retro AJ1 but an 11 in AJ1 ‘85 retro. How do these run? Should I get an 11 or 12?

I'm happy to have scored on the Lost and Founds.. but these are much nicer and "more authentic" imo. It's funny how a rep can be more authentic than the Nike "authentic" ones lol
Amazing. Ordered a pair of UNCs couple weeks ago. Stuff like this was only made possible because of reps. The sole was remade for 85 cuts and he got the same molds and vrl used to make pre-aged rep new beginning custom chicagos

What size are those brodie and I think you should do an update on these.
How is the paint on the shoe? Are they more like a complete paint over kinda like the 85 neutral gray? Or more of a natural pigment like the SBBs? Im coming from the anvil rose vid on the 85s cut in half. Like im down to pay 6 hundred if the shoes have good construction AND good leather. From what I can see they are high quality in terms of construction. But they arent using the best painted leathers, however I cant really be sure unless I have them in hand. Wass just asking you since you have them in hand.

These are reps/fakes! If you put the logo on a shoe that’s not produced by that company you’re making reps/fakes. The sneaker community is so dumb, calling everyone out who wears fakes but as soon as a fake is expensive and hard to get it’s cool

tbh I hate that this shoemaker calls them bespoke, they aren't bespoke these are just customs. Please look up the defination of bespoke and you'll see what I'm talking about. Yes these are really good customs by in no way are they bespoke.

Please, do not call these the “Chicago Reimagined”. I’m getting one of these pairs eventually, but when I saw your thumbnail that you, “Got them early”.. come on man.
These are nothing like the Nike release later this year. These are an homage and replica of the original 85 Air Jordan 1. Not reimagined with cracked leather.
Facts this dude got mad shit wrong in this video and in the comments said the leather doesn’t compare to retail idk what retails he owns but I own a ton and they’re better than damn near every retro I own……the reimagined are an embarrassment of a shoe please don’t compare these to those ever

If the sole is flimsy when you squeeze it its definitely a rep sole. Either way, these shoes look pretty solid overall. The version with the cracked/aged black leather on the upper looks better IMO.
