- Today, I'm showing you my 2023 Evolution 48V Lithium Electric Golf Cart! We love this thing, and love taking it RV camping and just cruising it around. It's street legal and seats four!
Absolutely love mine as well
So fun!!
I bought a 2023 Forester 4 Plus and I too doubt the advertised 25 miles per charge. I've never had it below 30% charged so I can't say for certain but even then I was at about 9-10 miles on the charge. My sister purchased a Classic 4 Plus at the same time and she is seeing about the same mileage. I am surprised that the forester and the Classic have the same 110wh batteries when the Forester has much larger tires and additional weight from the lift kit.
I do charge mine to 100% when I get it to 20%.
You’re correct, never trust the advertising. 😂
I’m sure they test all downhill.
Thanks for commenting and subscribing! I appreciate it! Have a great weekend!
Have one myself I love it, but I didn't understand your comment you keep it in low that didn't make sense to me can you explain
@kevinmcintosh9990 Sure! The speed setting dial of 12 miles per hour, or 25 miles per hour. I just typically keep mine in the lower speed setting of 12 miles per hour. Saves battery life and the slower speed in safer in RV parks and such.
On the city streets, I use the 25 mile per hour setting in traffic.
Hope this helps explain.
Thanks for watching and commenting!

Lithium definitely lasted longer than lead acid, but they always advertise way longer of mileage and you will ever get.
You are correct for sure…
Have you had any problems with the touch screen? My family and I have been looking into a forester 4 plus and we wanted to know if the screen has had any problems.
No, not at all. It’s been working fine so far.
Golf carts are so fun, my little nephews and niece love it!
I guess anything can break at anytime, but I’ve been lucky…. lol
How does it do on a steep hill? We live on a canyon and it has to do a pretty good incline.
No problems at all! I was very impressed with how it climbs. I held itself at 12mph the entire time on the low setting. It didn’t matter if I was going uphill or down honestly, it always maintained that 12mph. It was like it was on cruise control…
The batteries and motors in these new carts are amazing.
I have a 2023 evolution cart. My battery life seems to be short maybe 12to15miles. I would like to know on average what should I be getting before I take it back to my dealer
Roger, thanks for commenting.
Mine gets to about 20 miles, then I’m at 20%. I know too it depends on ambient outside temperatures, hills, carrying a bunch of people or loads…. Ect.
I also run mine at low speed 80 percent of the time.
I’m sure they can check your battery against a new one, it’s still under warranty. I would do it, as you will always wish you did if you don’t.
Have a great weekend!!
Was the LSV for licensing an extra cost option with the Forester or is that a standard item? And looking at the comments, I assume you have the standard 110ah battery? Really only get 15 miles or so? That's pretty short.... We are looking into one of these is why I ask.
Thanks for commenting. It was extra for the street legal model. About $3000.00 more. This includes everything to make it street legal, lights, turn signals, seat belts, ect..
I have the 48V system with optional lithium upgrade.
130ah is supposed to get me to 40 miles. My math / experience is more in 25-30 mile range.
I typically stay in the low speed selection. 12mph vs high speed 25mph. I’ve never take it on long trips honestly. Many short stops and go trips.
I can recommend it for sure. We love it! It’s a head turner for sure! People love it. Great styling, and seems well built.
Let’s me know if you get one! We take ours RV’ing.
Have a great night!
Joey
Our white classic plus was delivered today. Looking forward to many miles of smiles….. 😊

You will love it! Keep me posted on how it goes, and your new adventures!
Where did you find the stop and turn signal lights?
The ones built in were installed by the Dealer.
I added the one above from Amazon. It’s made for trucks to be installed under the tailgate.
The 3M tape supplied works great on the golf cart top. Very easy to wire in as well.
Let me know if you need anything else.
Thanks for watching and commenting! I appreciate it!!
@@JDAZE do you have a link for the Amazon lights? Thanks

I really want one that goes up to 35 mph.
I’m sure one can modify these things to go faster. I’ve seen on a tv show, some guy doing wheelies with his! 😂
We would love to know the price & charging time. Thanks
Sure, I didn’t address the price as it varies around the United States. I paid $13,000.00 here in California for the street legal version. Non-street legal does cost less.
Charging time is a few hours starting at 20 percent to 90 percent. I typically charge it late night hours when possible, rates are cheaper after 900pm here in California.
Thanks for the questions, I appreciate it! Let me know if you have any others…
How well does it fit in the truck bed? Any pics?
Definitely hangs over in the tailgate currently with my 1500.
I just ordered the 24 Silverado 2500. I’ll do another video when it arrives with the golf cart in the bed.
@JDAZE awesome. Where did you get the license plate holder for it?
@@JaredScarborough-mh9zn
Not sure where my friend bought that, it was a Christmas Gift.
I’ll ask her later today…
@@JaredScarborough-mh9zn
I got it! She bought it here:

@JDAZE oh I was talking about the actual mount it's attached to. Mine didn't come with anything like that. Thanks for the help!
did you discuss pricing/cost?

@@JDAZE thanks for the pricing. did you shop any other brands..thx

I did, this cart was at my local dealer. I bought this one in case I needed warranty repairs or had issues. So far everything is working perfectly! No issues at all.
Does the battery drain if you're parked with the radio playing?
Yes, it does. But I’ve never ran it down that far. I’m sure it would take weeks of continuous playing to kill the huge battery.
@@JDAZE We were fishing in the middle of a huge lake and the radio killed the battery. Fun times.
@@MichaelJosephJr934
Good to know! I still have the stock system in mine. I thought of upgrading it, but now I worry if I listen too long…. 🤦🏻♂️
I've seen some put a second battery in for this reason. Might be an idea.
@@MichaelJosephJr934 Great idea, it does have a spot for a standard deep cycle battery.
What is the price for this car?
$8000.00 - $10,000.00 USD
No air-conditioning?
lol, no… just fold the windshield down and go fast. 😂

I almost didn't watch because you kept repeating yourself...
Yeah, I’m new and still a little nervous. I’ll get better.
Thanks for watching though.
With all the garbage going on in this once great country, California being one of the worst, do you really like living there? Not trying to insult. Serious question.
No, I don’t. The state is beautiful, the political portion is not. But, I was raised here and built a family here. It’s hard to get out now. But, I agree with you. No insult taken at all.
