    The last guitar is my favorite! A perfect blend between Classical and Flamenco. Very open and transparent with a flamenco attack and attitude. Magnifico! 😊

    All great guitars but the Romanillos is in a different class to the rest in my opinion. That’s why they are the most sought after

    "La esquina" is spanish for 'the corner', I'm sure is covered in the correspondence but it'd be fun to know why Romanillos picked that name. Interesting that it wasn't a favorite for a bunuch of us...

    Jouyan, you keep getting better and better, and the showcase for guitars is getting better all the time. Wow!

    Romanillos, not a huge fan of this one, despite the big name, reputation and all. Braun sounded better, it has a prettier tone and better bass. DF as spectacular as can be. I do not know why the maestro moved away from this superior and superb sound. Barbero, Dios mio! just stunning, fantastic, the best, all that and much more. Sakurai surprised me. I expected less. It is not bad. Angelo’s guitar is very nice indeed but Barbero totally stole the show all the way. Bravo, Siccas and Julian I mean, Jouyan :)

      I agree, that Barbero is quite asthonishing. The fact that B&S are mahogany should make think a lot some people heavly bonded to certain woods...
      The Sakurai is quite beautiful too!

    I think these sessions need some some Villa-Lobos tunes because they travel through all the neck, vertically and horizontally. We could then listen to the volume and the roudness of the basses, and the clarity and the definition of the trebles and how everything blend together harmonically. I have in mind the study n°1 and the prelude n°5. These tunes give a lot to listen to and, certainly, a good idea of the guitar extension possibilties. Good job nonetheless. Cheers from Belgium.

    I'll say it again.
    You have the best job in the world!
    What's the piece you always play after 'Fly me to the moon'?
    I'd love to learn it.

      @SiccasGuitars.
      I wouldn't have a guitar that didn't have a cutaway, full or scoop.
      I know you have some in the shop.
      Let us hear some please.

    Hello Jouyan, you should diversify your repertoire a bit...

      @Dems-fk8sh - why ? - it's a guitarcompairing platform and not a repertoirecompetition...

    • @Dems-fk8sh
      @Dems-fk8sh 11 месяцев назад

      @@qweasd60 Why? Here is why: those pieces are not going through the whole neck to highlight the guitar's sounds extension. Where are the deep basses like in Villa-Lobos Prélude 1 or Étude 1? Also, a test should go through the neck horizontally and vertically and through the harmonics too. Ständchen is beautiful but insufficient for those requirements. No offense to him though. I like what he's doing and what he's highlighting in his speech. There's no link with competition. If you don't understand that go check harmonica or triangle videos. Ana Vidovic testes a guitar from Redgate and she goes through the whole neck with the Bach cello suite n° 1. Understand my point now?

    Honestly, that whole lot needs a concert level recording session just to hang on to the sounds for the record before they find new homes.

    mahogany wood is good for acoustic guitar as to noise sound but classical guitar is deep sound and warm also long response sound.
