"Come Rain or Come Shine" is a popular music song written by Harold Arlen with lyrics by Johnny Mercer. The song was written for the musical St. Louis Woman, and was published in 1946.Recordings were made in 1946 by Sy Oliver (with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra), Dinah Shore, Helen Forrest and Dick Haymes, and Margaret Whiting.
Riding with the King is a blues album by Eric Clapton and B.B. King that was released in 2000. It was their first collaborative album and won the 2000 Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album. The album reached number one on Billboard's Top Blues Albums and was certified 2× Multi-Platinum in the United States. Riding with the King was also released on a DVD-Audio in higher resolution and with a 5.1 surround sound mix in 2000.

Didnt really get Mr. Clapton before I heard this song. I go for voices first. So, this did it for me. I can really hear him on this. Could be because I am half deaf😊 He shines in this even with the legend BB beside him. I dont know anything about guitars but I love them❤ Just listened to Ray Charles version, they really increased the value of this song. Like all the greats!

Two old pals sharing a song. I remember reading that Eric (as producer) wanted BB to record this. BB didn't think he was up to it, because of the the style and Sinatra's (and others) shadow. I glad that Eric convinced him. (Although Eric could have dialed back his own vocals a tad, no?).

Nice but I have a rare version on vinyl from 1954 on EmArcy by Dinah Washington backed by some great jazz musicians among them Clifford Brown (trumpet) and the great Max Roach (drums). Have never looked for it on RUclips-never heard a better version than that one although I may be prejudiced
