This is so informative! These lead forming tools would really come in handy - never knew about them - these would have helped me out a lot when I have replaced some components. I have used needle nose pliers to bend crisply and guesstimate for the proper length and that doesn't always work well Very useful video always am learning something new and proper from you.

Hi Groovy: We have all probably done the needle-nose plier thing - Very difficult and frastrating when the bend is just a little bit to long or too short. . . These make everything soooooo much easier. If you want to get real detailed about things, you can bend componets that have lables on them, so they all sit on the board, with all the lables showing in exactly the same way. Looks super-neatwhen you do that - Chris

Hi andy: Sounds about right - Use them for 1 or 2 projects and they pay for themselves - Chris

Spending a few dollars of these tools makes a lot of sense in my opinion. I've been using these 3 Leed Forming Tools for over 25 years and they still work as well today as when I bought them. Buy a set for yourself and make your work look professional - Chris

Looks like these would be extremely easy to 3d print if the STLs were available

It may be pronounced like "leed" but it's spelled as lead.
