Bark at the Moon Ozzy Osbourne Jake E Lee Guitar Cover Full Song with Both Solos. Performed by Zak Edwardz For more Guitar Lessons visit www.zakedwardz.com
Man! Ive been looking at Bark At The Moon covers/lessons all day then finally stumbled on yours. I have an Eclipse II as well and wanted to see someone jam this song on the same guitar. You didnt disappoint! Man, wish my skills were as badass as yours!
yah!! nuno is the shit...him and randy r my favs...seen a lot of covers for those songs...but havnt seen anybody hit it with the speed that nuno has...hit it!!
@Shadjc Thanks man.. Randy & Ozzys music is in my blood. Lot's of work on dissecting Randy's playing/coupled with the utmost Respect for him as a player. & trying to honor his legacy. Yea..I use a Marshall when I'm playing with the band or on stage..but I love the Line 6 amps for recording. You really can nail Any guitarists tone on there. If only they wouldn't wash out with drums..I''d use them live. Thank you again for the support!
@ivansucksalot2 Yea, that is the Line Spider 4 HD 150. It's the high end Cabinet with the Vintage Celestions..THAT makes all the difference in the world. It's worth the $700 for that cabinet alone. I no longer use them with my band, but I continue to use them for recording & such. They are the best for those purposes. You can really emulate any tone near matching them. Live I use Marshall, combined with my cabinet & various pedals on my footboard. Thanks for asking.
ha! It's coming I promise. In the middle of filming an Instructional DVD of Ozzy's guitarists. Filming wraps up in a couple of weeks & then I'll start filming some more covers & Nuno is on the top of the list!
@medicrs165 I have to say after learning so much of Jake's material with Ozzy, as much as it pains me to say he is every bit as talented as ANY of Ozzy's players including Randy. The guy played passages that No One, especially then were attempting. Brilliant player! A great bench mark for any guitarist to learn his stuff note for note..to gauge where you're at. Respect
holy shit...jake e lee...has to be one of the hardest and most technical guitar players ever...next to randy rhoads...lol...but shit u nailed his solo...great finger work...nice to see somebody do that solo justice...almost like jake...lol..
@bill14231393 ha..I like that. I use Marshall on stage & Line 6 at home. Line 6 are fucking beautiful for matching tones at controlled volumes. But thanks for the kind words.
For some reason your playing is so easy to follow! Yet your playing the epic songs spot on! Very cool! I'm learning a lot from watching your stuff. FYI that clown capping on your Line 6 is an idiot. I've Line 6, Marshall, and Mesa (have Marshall and Mesa right now). There are many times I wish I still had the Line 6! Cool versatile amps that can produce just about any tone!
The issue you're having is most likely as much the guitar you're using as it is you learning the best way to get clean mutes on it. Jake used charvel I believe with the Fender style body..but a lof of Fender strats the squire inparticular makes it hard to play this style. The placement of the single coils (humbuckers) makes you have to put your hand in an un natural position to play them clean. So,with the guitar you have now..keep ur palm real close to the bridge more than other guitars demand.
Jake is absolutely one of the most technical & unique players of that time.
Some of his parts are harder to play than Randys.
thank you!
Randy is a Legend. Jake was indeed ripping the neck off, in the backing track. Great Job!!!
One of the best BATM covers I've seen! Awesome!

I think you are playing it better than me, good shit. I will have to take another crack at it and see if I can catch up with you.

Great !!!! , May be sometime: Rock And Roll Rebel and Center Of Eternity ?
***** Nice choices..I will get those out here!
they are the EMG 81 & 60 I believe.
I think Zak uses a spruced up 81 & 85 like Randy did.

thanks man..lots of hours focusing on just my picking hand & not playing any notes. That will help keep you from cramping.
