I use GHS Boomers. Those were 10 gauges, but I've now started using 11's. They are far from slinky though. I love their richness & that you have to work for your bends.

Thanks so much man. It really depends on your guitar. The lower line guitars tend to really go out of wack when you bend behind the nut. I have grovers on mine & think they're great.

Hi Sebastian, in this video I didn't use any pedals I dialed in a sound on the Line 6 I was was using at the time. I use all MXR pedals live, exactly as Randy Used.

hey man, if you mean the first fill randy plays..it's the classic fill he used a few times in variations. This one..is slight "a.h" (artificial harmonics) while pulling off 3 times on the 1st fret of the b string in a row then 2 pull off on the 2nd frett of the g string..then 1 pull off on the 2nd fret of the d string, 1 pull off on the 2nd fret of the a string is what I play, randy plays that or a C on the 3rd fret. Then finally 1 pull off on the 3rd fret of the E string.
