- Overall I am very happy with the air fryer tray and I am glad I did not compromise and buy the smaller off-brand model. It would have been nice if Frigidaire included this tray for free, but I doubt most buyers even realize this unit has an air fryer function.

Put parchment paper for your tray liner instead of the aluminum foil, and you won't get excess smoke, and will avoid your smoke alarm going off. When oil drops on the paper, it just sits there until you remove it. When oil hits a hot metal surface (tray or aluminum foil), it is superheated and will burn. I have this oven and have never had a smoke alarm problem because I use parchment.

Hi, thanks for sharing. The food was sticking because you did not "lightly" spray the rack with a cooking or vegetable oil. Then there would have been no reason to open the door while cooking to flip the food, and thus losing heat, thus having to return it to the oven multiple times. The heat circulates evenly around the food in Air Fryer mode so really no need to touch until ready. Agree with previous post re: parchment paper vs. foil on the cookie sheet. Happy Cooking!
Very helpful video. Thank you. Based on what you have said, I think it would be simpler to just use a regular rack, so I wish the manufacturer would just sell the basket without the specialized oven rack.
We just got the gallery gas stove installed today. Instructions say no flipping necessary. This option will help save counter space of the big bulky air fryer.

I felt the same way when I first bought that rack and the tray I was really upset it was quite a bit of money and the actual oven was quite a bit of money. At this point I haven't used it all that much but I'm thinking maybe around the holidays I might.
I have this air fryer rack and the problem is that when I pull out the air fryer rack, then the contents may drip onto the oven bottom and door because the baking sheet is still in place under the original placement of the air fryer rack. It's like I have to move the air fryer rack and the cookie sheet at the same time to avoid a mess, and that's hard to do!
We use our smaller air fryer more than this one due to this reason
Probably better off buying an after market air fryer rack that sits on its own collection pan. For $50 prob could have gotten a big one and wouldn’t need to change out the rack each time
I just purchased the fridgidaire air fryer. 25L. I don't have instructions and never used one before. I don't know how to change the temperature or preheat the oven
How do I remove the oven door?
Just cook them on a shallow pan. No smoke and its still crispy.
Not sure what kind of oil you spray your chicken with but if you use Avocado oil spray it will not smoke as bad as it does with Olive oil sprays, never use vegetable oil sprays.
Did you notice the handle to pull and push rack with. You did end up using it. You don't seem comfortable around a hot surface.
can I use a wet batter with this? I have GE but assume they're all the same
I wouldn't use wet batter in an air fryer because of the mess, but I don't see why you couldn't... Other than said mess...

I would not buy this model again to be honest. The touch buttons have no tactile response and have a delay that is pretty annoying. My child unlocked the front panel in about 5 minutes by simply pressing every icon until he noticed one did not beep 3 times and the held it until it unlocked. The high pitched induction noise is much louder on this unit than a friend's Samsung, plus the burners do not light up or give any indication of them being warm other than a little light on the front bezel. I will make a video on the stove eventually but most kid-free time is going to the kitchen remodel right now.

Just bought the Frigidaire air fryer range & ordered the rack.Has anyone had a problem with the fan?The fan makes a bad noise on & off.Good thing is it’s under warranty.
I think mine had a sticker over the slots on the back inside of the oven, does it sound like a metal grinding noise or like a baseball card in bike spokes? I wonder if some packing material could have got in there? Just a guess. Good luck with your stove.

In case you didn't find out sooner, and are still wondering, you can bake a cake in any gas stove. It should come out great.
Why makes so much noise? It is normal?
I'm just guessing at this point (stove is backordered), but I assume it's because the convection fan was still running. I don't know whether there is some sort of "pause" button. There *should* be, in my opinion. Notice that the steam(/smoke?) seemed to get blown out immediately when he opened the oven door? Seems like a lot of hot air would get blown out, too.

So why not just pull the rack out and put the tray in, and then slide the rack back in? Alss feel lucky that you found that tray for 50 bucks. I just purchase the stove and microwave, and they sales guy says while showing me a demo " Well that air fry tray is an optional.. We charge 70 dollars for it" I was like dude that ought to be free, and you all have AN ATTEMPTED ROBBERY GOING WITH THAT MOVE.
Anyway I went to online and found it for 56.00, but I had a 10 dollar credit I would apply so it went to mid 40s.. That 75.95 I would have had to pay the store was not even in the plan. I'm going to go back to the store, and tell the salesman f he beats my online price, I'll buy it from them...lol
Yeah I could do that for sure, throwing it on the existing rack is quicker. I got mine for like 40 on Amazon open box actually. I love warehouse deals haha.
