  • Welcome aboard the Toronto Subway! On this second video, I'll be showing you the Line 2 From Kennedy all the way to Kipling! This line utilize the T1 trains built by Bombardier in the 90's. Definitely one of my favorite trains on the TTC Subway!

For years I find it weird for TTC to use streetlights for their outdoor sections of trackage and train yards giving impressions that it's a[nother] major roadway/highway running beneath the streets of Toronto, especially in open•cut sections; The Rosedale Valley Viaduct is more like a covered steel bridge: on street maps I noticed that the subway line was listed as being outdoors through Castle Frank Station, then someone explained to me the reason why (I originally thought trains came out after Castle Frank Station onto The Francis Albert Viaduct to cross over Don Valley and into Broadview Station enroute), but I'll bet train fans wouldn't have noticed this edifice (Rosedale Valley Viaduct)-not even me, also the surrounding neighborhood looks like somewhere in NYC because of the apartment buildings; in the videos, trains originally DID run outdoors alongside Yonge Street at Summerhill and St.Clair stations until 'corrupt' real estate cancelled scenic open• cut view bonuses; I definitely have a love interest for Old Mill Station because it looks like a floating art gallery museum; also, was the line originally supposed to run completely outdoors just west of Dundas West and/or Keele Stations? I ask because there are in's and out's of the tunnel at some station locations. . . I've been following TTC for 4 decades now.

There are 2 things I don't like about TTC:
    1. The train stops and departs very suddenly, the doors open for only 5 seconds and then closed again, we don't have enough time to get on and off the train. (This happens on Line 2 a lot of times).
    2. There's NO Signal in TTC Station Platforms and Trains

      3. it don't tell you what's the next stop while the doors are open. Example (Line 1 to Chester station, doors closing.)

@@user-vi6ku5ic2d 4. There’s no wi-fi service on the underground station platforms (Especially Line 2)

I ride line 2 every week. I can say, the amount of time the doors open is the amount of people that are coming in/out. If there is more people coming in/out, the doors stay open for a while. Vice Versa.
