[Toronto Subway] Subway Ride On Line 3 (Scarborough Rapid Transit) From Kennedy To McCowan

Welcome aboard the Toronto Subway! On this Third video, I'll be showing you the Line 3 (or SRT) From Kennedy all the way to McCowan! This line utilize the ITCS (Intermediate Capacity Transit System) trains built by UTDC* (now Bombardier) in the 80's. Definitely one of my favorite trains on the TTC Subway!
By The Way, this line is currently set to be decommissioned by 2023! Replacing it is supposed to be a network of buses running along the former line.

The last time I was on Scarborough RT was during the holiday season in 2017. Both of the remaining MiWay 05s and 06s were retired during the same time which is when the TTC was closing down the RT Line that opened back in March 1985.

R.I.P the baby blue guy next to Line 2 that I was always curious about as a kid. However, I do think it probably has many safety issues in winter and it’s probably much better to go straight to McCowan from Kennedy on Line 2.

*Line 3 will not shut down in 2023, it's either the TTC will purchase new SRT from the Bombardier Co. that is new, compatible and reliable or to replace from UTDC to Bombardier Rocket SRT trains in 2023, 2026 and 2030. Shutting down will be a total injustice to Scarborough*

Here is what will happen, Line 3 Scarborough LRT will be retired in 2023, upon its retirement, buses will replace the service until the Scarborough Subway Extension of Line 2 Bloor-Danforth opens around 2030.
