I just bought the book for gas mining. Bought the scoops, fitted a Venture cheap as can be. High sec worm hole had 5 or 6 anoms, the last I scanned was a gas site. C50 and 85 gasses, zero presence. Ran 5 or 6 loads before I ran out of time irl. 22+ mil a load. This is 4 jumps from Jita btw. This is my new fave way to fund doing whatever else I want in Eve. Book is expensive, scoops are 3+ mil each, but after 2 Venture loads I’m in profit. I cringe at how many times I’ve scanned down gas sites in WH space looking for relic and data…ouch. Side note, I was expecting a sleeper response and it showed up 3/4 load on first load. Didi out and came back with Caracal to smash the drones, with salvager and loot it was 2.4m just for those. Gnosis now bought, thanks gas sites!, to play with combat anoms and other explo. May move to Rohk but Gnosis is a smidge cheaper. Glad to see others huffing gas.
Wormhole gas huffing is definitely a lot of fun, good way to make isk too. Keeps you on edge, cause you never know who could warp in on you. I love gas huffing in a wormhole that’s occupied, makes it more interesting
Oh another thing - if you're not movving, you can't be 'aligned'. What I mean by that is eve calculates align time based on your vector, and when you're at 0m/s your vector is zero. This means your ship is effectively pointing in every direction at once - the graphical representation of which way your ship is pointing means nothing - being 'aligned' only has a meaning if you are movving toward the thing you're aligned to. From 0m/s it'll take the same time to get into warp wherher it looks like your ship is pointing at the target or not. Hope that helps!
@@Expedishun I saw the fit so I bet it does! It also applies to your barges, though! So if you want to be aligned for insta warp start mining aligned at 75% speed to something beyond the mining target, then after you pass it and approach max range the other side, turn back and align to something warpable in the opposite direction. Takes more effort but it's safer than sitting at 0m/s! P.S. if you want to test what I said about 0m/s align pick an object, point at it but 0m/s then warp and time it, then repeat but starting again at 0m/s with the front of the ship pointing away from the thing you warp to and time that - you'll find it's the same. If you still want to mine at 0m/s then at least it'll save you the time you used to spend setting up the 'passive align'! Oh! There's more! eve server 'ticks' are 1 second so you might be able to remove an inertial stabilizer for something more useful without losing time to warp. So lets say you have a ship with 4 i-stab and your align time is 2.14 seconds - this means three server 'ticks' (three seconds). If you remove an i-stab and your align time jumps to 3.14 seconds, it takes you four seconds to get into warp now. BUT if you remove the i-stab and your time goes from 2.14 to, say 2.89 seconds, thats still three server 'ticks' so you can safely ditch it without affecting your time to warp.
With regard to he pvp character, don't get too hung up on skills and kick ass ships. There is so much more to pvp than skillpoints - get him in a cheap tackler or dps ship asap and start flying in pvp gangs - if you build yourself ten tackle executioners and ten dps ruptures (or whatever) then tell yourself the isk is already gone and those ships are already dead, you can go out and fly them fearlessly- by the time you lose all twenty you'll know SO MUCH more about pvp, and it'll pay divvidends in your pve money making attempts too - you'll learn something with every loss and maybe get some fun kills along the way!

Called wormhole space. 2 c3 combat anoms gives 100mil in 30mins.,wh gas is better, I bank over 1bil a day and another 260 mil a day in just PI on 6 toons with 1 main and alt. Sansha relic sites are usually 40-150mil a site. Litterally 200mil an hour. I just don't understand players taking just as much risk in low sec because there is a "local" channel. Your watching Dscan anyways. Why are you shooting for being poor? At least run sansha sites in reg null sec if you WANT isk and not just PvP.
