Your videos are awesome. Keep up making these. I play eve time to time and only place i do stuff is in wormhole. Nice to see insight from ppl who really live there.
In all my years in EVE I was living in a wormhole for less than a year but it was fantastic. Like you say, so many things to do, and often an abundance for a small group to live off. I enjoyed listening to your story and I subscribed.
@@waddenderas7774 People go through phases in real life, and at a certain point some of us, including me, could not keep our system running anymore as we lacked energy and time. In times like that it starts to feel like a job and we could not have that so we left. But there were good moments in that wormhole space for sure. Nowadays I live happily and without obligations in high sec. One has to find the home that fits real life.
Just coming across this video a year later. We are looking to put up a Astrahus for a home and other structures in a nice C3 or better. We are worried a fleet will come along and blow it up for fun. I’m wondering what your experiences are with that and how likely is it? Is staying under the radar and not attracting attention a viable strategy? How often is your base attacked? Has it ever been attacked?
Great video, i have been playing Eve for 10+ years but have not delved into jspace too much I have just moved out to WH space recently and trying to solo out of a small POS. Very interesting stuff m.
Cool video buddy !!! Nice to see someone's day in WH's , so cool . I also like to build and use it , for my own or to be able to give to corp friends for free ofc :) Iam not so pro but i like to see people happy to have ships that i personaly fit and build and ofc structures where they can use for their own .Thanks for sharing your kind off' playstile . As a failry new player my first real corp was in a WH. And i gotta say it was the most fun ive had until now. Since ive returned a few days ago i am struggling to find a corp that fits and see other parts of new eden. Right now im in a large nullsec alliance where everything i do feels meaningless. I miss defending and contributing to a small part of space that i can call home with a few people
That's why I left my ex-nullbloc Alliance/Corp. I was just responding to random pings, meaningless content. I moved into WH and and the whole thing rebooted my experience
Hi there! Decided to try exploring for real this time Due to your video... Ended up getting lost in multiple wormholes, i was not prepared. Evading 2 combat scanner probers in 2 WH's (basically i saw combat probes and immediatly warped a few moons then waited, imagine that, 3 hours on a saturday, have a beer, ended up with a big haul out of 1 site, 70 Mil!! According to some site it was a Ruined C3 site where i got the loot. Thanks for the video. Regards.
looking for new thinks to do in eve, what sort of tz and corp activity is your corp? Ive tried wh before but the lack of corp member engagement and TZ issues killed each corp that i attempted it with.
Just coming back to the game since my initial playing back in 2011. Been spending the last 2 weeks getting back in the swing of things and thinking about giving this a go. Nullsec scares the hell out of me.
I love seeing the day to day life of different people in EVE. Would you say that wormhole living requires a constant amount of time/play? My game time for EVE can vary so wildly (all day one day, then no time for a week) that I worry wormhole life wouldn't fit?
Well there’s two types of wormhole living. Some people put loads of time into it, scanning WH anoms, getting the right fits and the whole lot. Then there are those who log in, scan a WH and jump in and do a little content and jump out, that’s what I do. So yea in short you can do that.
You can be flexible with it, it's no problem. There are groups that regularly run evictions, that will require you to commit to a serious amount of consistent gametime but if you're looking for something more chill WH can definitely provide that too. A lot of the guys in my group have super variable game-time, so it really is no problem
The R8-64 moon materials, unfortunately I need to go and get those from market. But everything else I just harvest opportunistically. I have PI set up in WH. Actually the other ocasisonal market need is Morphite, but i'm wokring on getting that when we have Null exits
I've not played eve for a couple of years because of my crappy computer, I have just gotten a new one and always loved WH space, has much changed in the last couple of years ?? My main char had/has aprox 100mil sp's.
Welcome back! Nah, not much change in WH space. Depending on when you last played the biggest thing is probably the reduction in resource availability. Gone are the days of all minerals being available in J-space
great vid man, ive always wanted to bring my corp to wormhole space, would it be difficult to make the move from null space to wh space, the ships used will be an issue i guess
Awesome video! I am trying to get my corp into wormhole day tripping and scouting, how many people do you have mapping to spread the load and avoid burnout? Also how do you incentivize people to map?
Honestly not too many, we probably have 5-6 'hardcore' mappers, and that's primarily because they enjoy it, like me. We don't really have to incentivise, the beauty of the tools is, as long as you're logged in, your movements are logged and tracked anyway so as a minimum that's good. And people recognise that everyone benefits greatly from up-to-date maps... increased situational awareness helping protect high value assets, knowing where to go to maximise profits... WH living requires collaboration to be successful so generally the communities are full of players that pull together anyway. If you can get your guys interested in WH space, I promise you will have a good time :)
@@waddenderas7774 thanks for the reply that helps a ton, I have a lot to teach the guys but it’s going to be a ton of fun! My corporation is small enough that we are able to pivot our corp direction without losing people but we are also in a large null sec alliance and coalition, the alliance doesn’t have any corporations focused on anything to do with wormholes so we I’m trying to get the corp to fill that hole :) I’ll be looking forward to more videos from you in the future!
Hey Wadd love the video. As a old WHhobo i still dream of the good ole days in WH with it's ups and down. I kinda wanna go back to that life now that i'm back in eve again, but i don't have the time to play eve as back then where i could easy spend 5 hours each day in eve. How much time do you need play each day to live in W-space in 2023?
Get back in WHs pal :) You don't need much time as long as you're part of a decent little group. Or if you're completely solo, running Nomad... then any small amount of time is fine
It's definitely very high on my list to record. The opportunities I get to record while doing it don't come around to often but next time it does I'll be sure to do it. Thanks for the request!
