- Josh Doan's family and friends were in attendance on Tuesday night when he took the ice for the Arizona Coyotes in his NHL debut. Steve Peters caught up with Josh's mom Andrea and his sister Gracie to get their thoughts on Doan's first NHL game.

Hockey families are just more ‘real’ than other sports families. Mom and sister are so incredibly proud. Shane is in the same category as captain as Yzerman, Sakic, Linden, Crosby, BrindAmour, etc.

I live in Canada, but please Coyotes get a NEW ARENA or just move. I can’t believe a deal can’t be made to play where the Suns play. That is the most cost effective way to do it. And so many cities are doing that now. Figure yourselves out, please!
Don't know how old you are but I remember when they played in the Suns arena. The team then was pretty decent but the place was and probably still is a horrible place to see a hockey game at.
Unfortunately, when the Suns were planning their arena, Jerry Colangelo vetoed it being a mixed arena. It has too many obstructed view seats.
Ya, like daddy had nothing to do with getting him into the NHL. Another watered down player added to a water down league.
