- This video will show you how to "become" a cop in GTA IV. If you play the game on PC, LCPDFR gives you more options, but you can still have fun on consoles.

The thing I do is put a suit and tie on niko get the fib buffalo car and BAM your the F.I.B
I used to do this trick on ps3 until I got a decent pc and can play lcpdfr. This made me a modder after learning 3ds max, ps6 and z modeler. I make Finnish police uniforms and other emergency uniforms and vehicles like ambulance and firetruck etc. Because I live in Finland here's literally no modders or they're not that good (no offence) that's why I got subs and views and I'm about to relase them on my website :)

The backup is so you can have some teammates like the real SWAT team, and whenever the police is after you, use your "remove wanted level cheat" to lose them, and if they shoot you, use your "DOC health cheat to refill your health and armor, remember to finish the "search and delete" mission to have the ability to use the police computer, if you want a cool mask, finish the "Three Leaf Clover" mission and then go to wardrobe in your safehouse, go to hats, and find the mask, and press accept("A" button in the Xbox controller".
I use to play this like 3 years ago on my Xbox 360 man I will remember this game I’m planning on to get it soon I remember the hot dog shop and I used to always go there and I used to steal cop cars it was so fun I will remember those old days 🥺

oldchannel not so fast, first of all, all the coding needs to be done for script readers etc. Second of all It'll take some time especially to get something like lcpdfr that we have in GTA IV, it can easily take a few months, half a year or even a year. Lcdpfr has been up for several years and they recently updated it to 1.1 which doesn't crash at least for me, or of course it can but very very rarely. People who love playing as a cop in gta will stay in gta sa or 4 with police mods and scripts until gta 5 version gets relased and different state police cars and uniforms are made along with lspdfr or whatever they'll name it, it won't happen just like that. I'll wait for an summer and hope something has been done in gta 5. (Had it on ps3) but I love gta 4 lcpdfr on pc and that's the only thing holding me back from gta 5 pc edition. Also getting new laptop ASUS 751GJY with 980m 4gb and i7-4710HQ, 16gb ram and 1tb hdd 7200rpm. My current laptop isn't powerful enough to run gta 5 on good settings, not at all maybe but the new one will play it like it's a toy lol.

So if turns out a lot of the things I thought gta did stock when I was a lot younger weren’t just dreams etc, they were just mods. Glad there are mods for it though. I might live out that “true gta experience” soon.

I do that in pretty much any game, even COD, I duck behind walls and take my time, makes the game last longer and you get more fun out of it, I very rarely dash through a game like a boss..

Buy or build a PC, getting mods on console is an absolute pain and takes too much effort for what you get

If you want to be a SWAT team guy in GTA IV without any mods, just go to the Russian shop, get that blue gym sweater and those gym pants on, then finish the mission "search and delete" to unlock hacking into police computer, and then finish the mission "Three Leaf Clover" with Packie, after that, go to your wardrobe at your safehouse, go to hats, and then you find a mask, wear it along with those gym cloths I told you about, and you'll look like the SWAT team, then, get Dwayne as a friend in GTA IV, you get him as a friend when you kill Playboy X instead of Dwayne, if you killed Dwayne, redo your GTA IV storyline, after Dwayne becomes your friend, pause your game, go to brief, go to general, and wait a few seconds, and it'll scroll down by itself, have patience, and then it'll show how much Dwayne likes you, he'll call you to inform you if you want a 2 man army backup if he likes you 75%, you get him to like you everytime you hang out with him, after you got the backup, get a NOOSE patriot, use cheats to fix it (type in GTA IV cheats in RUclips to find out how to remove-wanted level cheat and DOC health cheat), NOOSE patriot is the only SWAT vehicle that has a police computer you can hack into, after you got the NOOSE patriot white van, call backup from Dwayne in the phonebook, the backup will come to you, after they get in the vehicle, press "LB" if you have an Xbox(it only works when your vehicle is still), and then do some missions.You're welcome.
I hope in GTA 6 one of the characters is a undercover cop so you can do Freeplay busting civilians and arresting them. Call in helicopter etc..

Old maybe, but gta 4 running on an icenhancer and ultimate texture mod is something even gta 5 wont reach graphically till its on pc and modded, and then there's the fact u can play gta 4 as a fps, even while driving , drive by's etc so u bet its fun modding this "old" game! Go look up the icenhancer 2.1 screens and take a droolbucket with ya

Using police computer to respond crime is required for 100% competition of GTA 4
You can force yourself to go on duty by pressing Ctrl+P. After that you can just go into your Trainer and select you vehicle like Police 1 for example and then select your uniform like m_y cop. Have fun.

Console : Press LB or L1 in a police car to respond to crimes . that's it. PC: download the LCPDFR Mod and install it after that you can do alot what a real cop does aswell.

Paul SZ LCPDFR is known to cause fps drops, I run on a 1050ti, and I usually get 50-60, when the mod is active, I get 30-40
