About The Intern:
Academy Award winners Robert De Niro (Raging Bull, Silver Linings Playbook) and Anne Hathaway (Les Misérables, The Devil Wears Prada) star together in Warner Bros. Pictures’ The Intern. Oscar-nominated and award-winning filmmaker Nancy Meyers (It’s Complicated, Something’s Gotta Give, Private Benjamin) is directing the dramatic comedy from her own screenplay.
In The Intern, De Niro stars as Ben Whittaker, a 70-year-old widower who has discovered that retirement isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Seizing an opportunity to get back in the game, he becomes a senior intern at an online fashion site, founded and run by Jules Ostin (Hathaway).

One of the most memorable movies I've seen. De Niro played a man that no one can hate 😊
After spending an entire career playing characters that everyone hated and feared.
MR COngeniality.
@@lancer525 000 000 000 PlayStation 1
@Neelansh Mishra i hated a few of his characters
Nancy needs to make more movies like this. I admire how she approached every character with unadulterated generosity.
I highly recommend this to all FRESH GRADS and wannabee in Outside world. The interview is not just for intern but for everyone :)
He gets treated much nicer than a new internship I did last year😭😭
Oh my! I reckon most interns experienced the same, not being treated nicely.
The whole movie is a massive ad for free labour
@@Rays_Bad_Decisions how to be in a position without experience to attain experience dah
@@Mutlap mentorship not internship. Find a guy that owns his company and start working for him. It could be car sales or construction. It does not matter someone is successful at it. If you out in the time at a lower wage you can do start your own company or get promoted to your own crew
Yup but why a retiree craves to be an intern wannabe.. Is he that clueless
I loved this movie because Robert De Niro looks just like my father, still working at his 76 years. Same suits, ties, glasses and gray hair. In his workplace his colleagues joked because of this :-P
I was so afraid when this came out that they were going to make this a May-December romance movie, but, fortunately they went with the surrogate father/daughter relationship...
Many 1950's movies where like that. Senior actors played romance with young rising actresses who are 25 years or more younger than him. Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn movies are examples.
Sugar tray and masseuse.
@@andresihotang2314 so?
@@pinkfongbabyshark-kidssong8533 so they're weird
@@pinkfongbabyshark-kidssong8533 I don't know, different cultures and of course different countries have their own view on romance couples that are too many years far apart.. I personally find it a little bit weird if the relationship Robert De Niro have with Anne Hathaway is a romantic one. My own personal opinion is a maximum of 10 years gap between the couple.
I live in Sydney, and am 74 years employee, permanent part time after retiring as an automotive engineer in Korea.
Yes, every day is a challenging for me. However, I can enjoy my life with my wife. We can go tracking twice per week.
I love this film, 'The Intern' . Thank you so much.

Be safe and healthy!🙏
I like that the writers did not make the interview process as cringey as it easily could have been.
Judging from the clip, a better movie than what I expected from the tagline.
It is. So many things you think will happen .... don't. Well worth seeing (imho).
It's a happy go lucky type movie, really lifts up your mood, gets you to pause then ready again for your endeavours
Besides the obvious star quality of DeNiro and Hathaway, whose relationship brings on the happy tears, this is an incredibly well written, directed, produced and cast movie. So many wonderful relationships beyond the friendship of Ben and Jules. Ten out of ten for me.
I'm still so thankful, that movies like these still exist. Thank goodness.
Interviewer: Where do you see your self in 10 years
Interviewee: when I am 80 ?
🤣🤣🤣
yeah, I am 68 and have to work. Looks like I will be taking pointers from this movie from 2015. It's 2024 now.
Robert De Niro is a living legend!!
No he isn't.
Yes he is a living legend indeed. And as you read up more about him and the things he stands for and things that he has done, you’ll find out only by reading and researching him, it’s mesmerizing and your respect for him grows even more.
I agree
Yea. If only he was a Republican and not a Trump Hater
@@peterpierce9233 that doesn't apply here
This movie surprised me so much. Actually one of the best movies I ever seen
5:34 - 5:47
why is this the most wholesome thing ever?
I had a similar experience when I took up a new job at age 60 ! Nostalgia !
such a wholesome movie
What life lessons can you learn from the movie, “The Intern”?
It's never too late to learn something new.
More importantly Everytime you do something New Don't reinvent the wheel .
🇮🇪🇪🇺
Every day is brand new and if you lose your ambitious mind, then nobody can heal you!
If you're here to decide whether to watch it, watch it (: it is such a delight
This is the kind of movie you watch with your grandma that you want to throw down the stairs.
This man will never disappoint, no matter what role he plays
One of the best movies added to my favorites. Can't we have more movies like this? Please???
A very underrated movie.
Robert De Niro..my fave actor ever..😘😘
De Niro is such a role model for young people in this movie.
this movie just makes you smile at every scene
I love this movie. A lot to learn from the intern's character.
It’s funny how the poster for the movie makes Robert DeNiro look like the boss and Anne Hathaway look like the intern. Little did we know...
Exactly what I thought at first...😂
I have to see this again through fresher eyes. Modern women as leaders need "passive" men around them to feel comfortable based in feminist endoctrination mindset while being condescending every chance they get towards them. This "recognition" she had and apologized to the intern isn't modern fact. Feminists "don't apologize to men" period. This is a great movie for modern boys and men's awareness into this "new environment" where traditional business practices meet meet modern settings on business and social environments .
I'm not just a Uniform
Loved this movie! I especially enjoyed the brief-but-memorable role Linda Lavin played.
4:00 No, you are not Davis, you are AA Ron
One of my Favorite movies. Love all the cast and story line.
The double fist-bump at 6.46 is a nod to Raging Bull?
This was a great movie. One I never think of, and watched it again last night.
Great movie. Where classic and modern meet!!
I absolutely loved this movie💕💕
This film was beautiful
Such a moral enhancing movie this is.
Love this movie. A lot!!
Loved this movie!
So this is where A A Ron ended up
I love the scenes of interview process..😅
Amazing movie !!!
_A sequel to _*_The Devil wears Prada_*
Yeah! In reverse
If Emily Post had a brother, his name would be Ben Whitaker. I really love this film because Ben is widowed and a grandfather who is teaching the New School people things that never get old.
How did I not know u will post we are done let's live Mr diniro thks❤❤
Such a beautiful movie
BRILLIANT MOVIE ...🎉
Love this movie
Great film!
I love this movie Even I watch this movie 6 time in 4 month
I haven't seen this film in it entirety - only short extracts like this. And although I am sure that it contains the usual Hollywood cliches and 'wholesome' values that Americans always love to believe they possess - I think the subject matter is not only very interesting but extremely relevant.
Earlier this year [2021] Japan announced that it had more 80-year olds in its population than new-born babies for the very time in its history. Spain, the USA and the UK also admitted that they are facing a severe crisis over their ongoing 'ageing population' situation. And this is expected to become even worse as we are living longer and healthier lives.
The simple truth is that global population is in decline and that most countries are rapidly approaching an imbalance in their demographic make-up to such a degree that this will have major impacts on both their economic and social status. There will be a massive shortfall in young people coming through to take their place in a wide range of industries and businesses.
Similarly, the anticipated increase in 'pensionable' senior citizens will impose a huge burden on the country's welfare and medical systems. Where will these older people live? Who will do the work when they retire? And how will the countries pay for all these things?
It is obvious therefore that one of the quickest ways to help alleviate this problem is by allowing 'older' people to work longer if they wish. Indeed, in the UK the mandatory government retirement age has been raised from 65 to 67 and will be further raised to 68 in the next few years.
So it's about time that people [and especially the young] embrace this new phenomena and make it part of an ongoing 'adjustment' to the way our world - and its population - is changing. Attitudes need to improve and the horrid and totally unacceptably prejudicial behaviour displayed by people such as recruiters, [young] entrepreneurs and company owners must change.
One of my favourite movie
I think we should actually have this programs
I agree, I was thinking the same thing
Love this movie,

Clever.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years.
Robert de Niro- alive atleast.
Where did the hand santizer go? Did she have a pocket in her sweater?
even when he’s acting he makes me want to cry especially in this pick intern
This preview is OK, but I don’t think it does the movie justice. In my opinion, the movie is substantially better than the preview world lead you to believe.
Such a insult to a very experienced person... poor us. Remember we all will get there (OLD)..
Quite sure the entire point of the movie is to learn that lesson.
Have you seen the movie!!?
They started that Senior citizen intern program so that the young ones can learn something from them!
This is awesome movie.
Movie is goated
Well, it turned out to be a May-December romance but in real life. The taichi class has Bob's future baby momma, the woman dressed in black yoga pants and top. Tiffany. They have a baby girl.
Trailers now a day just give away the whole movie. Df. I just need the name. And who's in it
This is a movie preview for a bluray or digital, this movie has been released long time ago.
Although I agree with you, this is not a movie trailer.
I’m at 9:48 and just realized I wasn’t watching the full movie now I’m off to go watch it

If you work for Microsoft or Apple or Oracle or network company don't think it means you have a home or own a car. Or Google. First you have to know who has money. Like ship. Airlines government railway etc. Even Boston dynamics. Or Ford motorcade. Or apparel recycled.
