Great song and lesson, good for 3 draw bends and throwing in them octaves! And in 5th position, once again great lesson! Thanks 🙏🎶

That is one of my absolute favorite songs to play on the Harmonica. Also enjoy listening to other players interpretations of it. I would appreciate you giving a lesson on playing Octaves for your next Harmonica video as I've been attempting to get them clean however, it isn't sounding very clear or clean... Sometimes I can play a good sounding Octave but rarely two in a row! Yours sound very clean and clear... how is that done? Teach us the secret of how you play those Octaves so beautifully please.😅 Thanks for turning me on to SEYDEL Harmonicas. Never new they existed until I came across one of your videos and you were expressing your thoughts about the new Seydel 1847 Classic Low Tone
Bold Body Harmonicas and how amazing they feel to play because of the incredible low tone and resonating sounds of the steel reeds being used instead of brass reeds. Then you played it and right there I heard the most unique sounding DEEP BASS-like
velvety tones resonating out of that wide Harmonica, I knew I had to find one, the Lowest ONE ! Yes I bought a
Low Low E... and a few other Low Tone Harmonicas, and two other Seydel Models. They make so many different types of Harmonicas! More than Hohner which is what/who I also play.
    Thanks again ~💡🎶🎙🤙🏽🐈‍⬛🌌🌛💥

Thanks for your kind words, I’m super glad you’re getting something out of my videos! I have a video on octaves and all manner of tongue blocking techniques in the pipeline so keep your eyes peeled for that coming soon!

Thank you! Love the lesson, those ideas for other lessons also sound really good. Another clip of yours that's terrific on youtube is when you play a percussive version of I shot the sherriff on a minor tuned harmonica. Some great ideas there to also learn from. :) Have you recorded an arrangement for the complete song? Love to hear that!

Hey Peter, thanks for your kind words and I’m really glad you found the video useful. I’m currently working on a full tuition videos and arrangement of ‘I shot the sheriff’ based on that video and hope to upload it soon. Thanks for watching 😎

Thanks for watching! I do have a lesson on beginners 12 bar blues for a c harmonica on this channel. No bends on that. If you would like something more challenging I could work something up for a future video?
