- The installation of the clutch pedal and the brake pedal is a little bit rough! There's almost NO room in the footwell. All I can suggest to make it easier is to move the seat all the way back... or even take it out, move the steering wheel up to its highest point, and finally, remove the lower part of the dash under the steering wheel.
This is it! The gearbox preparation for the Lexus IS300 manual swap! This was an awkward one to film, and I came up against some pretty annoying challenges, all of which were overcome thanks to a few friends! :)

WARNING: I used this clutch master cylinder: 31410-53020 - but if you're using a J160 gearbox, you should 100% use 31410-53010 otherwise you'll have clutch issues like I have now!

is this a lhd clutch assembly or is it an altezza clutch assembly? they look to be the same as far as the bracket goes, but ive read that some people say the Toyota Altezza clutch pedal assembly doesn't fit but i cant find a video or reason of them saying why it doesn't fit
Yes it is. It fit just fine, but in the end I did swap it out for an IS200 one… even though it made no difference 😅
Edit: Actually, it’s a US IS300 CMC 👍🏻 not a LHD EU IS200 CMC.
what assembly is it though? im trying to figure out if i can actually use the toyota altezza bracket or if i can only use the 55107-53030 USDM clutch support bracket
