Just so you're aware, most airbags still have approximately 30 mins of back-up power after the battery has been disconnected. It would probably be wise to look in your owners manual to find out the exact amount of time, otherwise you might think you're safe when you're not.

You'd probably be best off just looking up RUclips videos on how to take apart the interior on your specific car model.

...Hey KMR.... Im thinking of getting some of this stuff but I'm wondering, If this is put on a dash for days on end does the sun desensitize the glowing? Or the heat of the day make the vinyl shrink and start to peal away.... over time? We know how hot it can get in a car in summer.
If the wrap is high quality (3M is a good brand) and UV resistant it should be fine

Hey man, that's really cool!!! Im curious. How well has the vinyl been holding up? seems to me like it could get scratched easily.
Still is in mint condition after a couple years! Has SOME small airbubbles popping up in tighter areas, but can be easily heated up again.
Were did you order the wrap from? And how much did it cost?

justafan marvel hey, to answer your question. Nothing happens. Vinyl wrap was designed with temperature in mind. As long as you get a quality brand such as 3M or Avery, you should be fine. I've vinyl wrapped my roof and am going to wrap a few interior pieces soon. I prefer wrap over paint to be honest. It's easy and costs less. And @active EJ, it doesn't cost that much to do the interior. The most you'd possibly spend for the interior pieces in the front of the car is around $30. And I could be wrong. It could cost even less. It only took me like $44 for my vinyl wrap for my roof. And that was 60inch x 60inch. And I still had a lot left over to wrap my mirrors and still have more left to this day. Lol

I watched this vid in 2020 bc I was gonna wrap my interior trim pieces but my older brother stole my heat gun… I got it back finally and I was struggling with the a/c rings. This helped so much😭

It's not carbon fiber. It's a T shaped pattern. Does look like carbon fiber though😄. The pattern is everywhere on the car.

SkiStam - Quality Videos Plastidip is easier to remove and easier to apply. But if you already have wrapping applied - no point of taking it off to replace with plastidip.

When exactly do you use the blow dryer? I've read tutorials and they all say different things in regards to the heat gun/blow dryer. Some say you have to put on the vinyl wrap a little, but not fully, then use heat and a credit card/squeegy, and some say to use the heat after the vinyl is fully on. Can you please tell me what is the best method because I wanted to wrap my interior trim pieces as well. Thank you

About how much vinyl did you use like footage wise I have a 24"x60" matte white vinyl and was curious if that should be enough for a full interior redesign.
Did you have any problems with the heat lifting the vynl wrap after it set in the sun some? I tried to do some on my mustang gt, and it just lifted once it got hot.
My girl bought me a car for my early birthday in July, gonna do this shit to it, can't wait.

I have a 2000 Subaru. It actually looks surprisingly good on the inside for its age, but it's the base model (I have no clue if the plastics looked different for different models) and some areas would look way better if they weren't the sun-faded grey. Going to try doing subtle trim with a wood-look vinyl. Should hopefully make the car look a bit better and a lot less like the other 500 exact same cars in my town.
