    Wait... but why do they leap? They swirl and create waves to make the plankton concentrate in one place so it's easy to catch and eat. I don't understand why they jump? That just disperses the plankton.

      People don’t really know why a lot of animals leap out of the water. For some it’s obviously to avoid predators, for some it’s a display, and for others it might just be a rush of joy
