    Will be looking to get the 607 S3 for my home office, which is quite a small room and I think those would work well.

      Thanks for commenting! The 607 S3 are the perfect choice for office speakers. Great looking speakers that will blend into the room without standing out too much, maintaining that professional look in the space. Plus they sound amazing! I think you'd be really happy with them.

    The only thing that sucks is when you just bought a set of 606 & 603 S2 speakers for a surround system two months ago, only to find out the S3 versions were just around the corner! 😕

    Hi! Which subwoofer and rear surround speakers you recommend to match in a 5.1 system with the 607 S3?

      Bowers & Wilkins ASW608 would be a great subwoofer to match the 607 S3. As for surround channels, I would recommend a pair of 607 S3. If you keep the speakers the same all around it creates a nice synergy.

    What is the difference between the new FS600 stands and the old STAV24 stands? Looks identical

      Thanks for the great question! As mentioned in the video, the 607 and 606 S3 models now feature mounting points at their base which allow them to be mechanically screwed into the stands ensuring a more secure fit. Therefore the new FS600 stands have mounting points in their top plate in order to accommodate this. As for the design and look, the new stands are largely the same as the outgoing STAV24. I hope that helps.

      @@AVHifiCinema I have the first 606 model (which cannot be mounted) and I am looking for some stands. The STAV24 is out of stock everywhere I look. Will the FS-600 also work for the first 606 model?

    Can you guys confirm or not if the series will have that dark wood and black finish?

      Hello, the 'Red Cherry' finish is only available in certain markets. The Western territories will get the White/Oak finish and the Eastern territories will get the Red Cherry (Black/Dark Wood). I hope that helps.

      Now I know where to import a pair from.

    So the 606 S3 will have more bass than previous version?

    • @AVHifiCinema
      @AVHifiCinema  Год назад +2

      Sound and how we all experience it is quite subjective and we find that particularly with bass - sometimes when bass is tighter and more accurate it feels like there is less of it. So I think its difficult to say that it has more or less bass - however because of the numerous changes that effect that area, new and more powerful motor system, redesigned bass port, new crossover and the position of the driver itself within the cabinet the one thing we are convinced of is that the speaker presents music in a different way and to our ears it’s a big improvement - we listened to Eric Clapton - Layla from the Lady In The Balcony sessions and the double bass kicks in after a few bars and its nice and full and articulate. Remember you could always order a set as you have your 30 day money back guarantee with AV.com if they are not quite right - or visit us in our showroom to have a listen - want to discuss more then give our experts a call.

      Thanks for your comment, I'll pass your feedback onto our contacts at B&W. With that said, the HTM6 S3 does fall within the average size of a centre speaker, and is not overly big in comparison to similar spec'd and priced models.
