    First thank you so much for your service. Second, just out of mind or head scratching curiosity, you had a positions that so many well educated Americans would do anything to have your jobs, and even so many government employees who would accept a down grade of their current positions just to be able to live your job experience abroad… would you mind sharing on what made you leave that amazing job which to many is nothing but a dream job?

      All of us left for different reasons. Some because they wanted a more stable lifestyle, or because they had other career goals. What we all have in common though is the desire to correct the mistakes that we saw our visa officer colleagues making while we were in our official roles.

    I got 2 refusals in 2018. It was a b1/b2 and I wanted to have my baby in the US, after having my previous baby in the US earlier. Most people who applied for similar reasons got refused around that period. The 2nd refusal was within a short time, may be 1 month.
    I paid all bills during my stay and returned in good time before the 6month period. The main topic during the interview was that i got discounts for my medical care.
    I want to go in for a 3yr study visa this time with my family. What do you advice?

    would like to inform you that your application requires additional administrative processing. It can take up to 180 days for the process of administrative clearance.
    Most administrative processing is resolved within 180 days of your visa interview, but the length of processing time will vary based on the circumstances of each case.

    My brother applied for student Visa to study Ph.D in Higher Education at Morgan State University for 2021 Fall. He is working with a University in his home country as Dean of College. The University in his home country gave full scholarship and provided affidavit of support. But he's issued 221g letter to provide 2 year pre paid tuition document to submit it through an email provided to him during the interview.
    The University has written through him to the consular officer that international students don't pay tuition in advance before the enrollment process. They request the Embassy to consider issuing him the Visa. His case is still pending after providing those documents. He is still waiting to hear from the Embassy although the University has sent him updated I-20 for Spring semester after he requested for deferral. He has always travelled to the US on B1/B2 Visa and has not overstayed. But every visa issued to him is placed on Administrative processing.
    Please advise. Is this another Administrative processing because the VO told during the F1 Visa interview that the major problem the VO had on him him was Administrative processing. It is 4 months now
    Please advise.

    • @ArgoSocial
      @ArgoSocial  2 года назад +2

      Hi James, your brother's situation sounds frustrating. It's very unusual for them to request proof of 2 years of tuition paid in advance. If he's been in administrative processing for 4 months, he should contact the embassy immediately to ask for an update.
