Any advice on how to deal with “same POSE / CAMERA ANGEL syndromes” ? All my bi-pedal characters end up as bust shots, head at a 3/4 turn, looking to the left, wings fanned out (if they have wings) even if they’re different species, different ages ECT…

This was real helpful. When I was a kid I did the scribbling sort of thumbnails all the time, and was pretty happy with it. I'd then erase the parts I didn't like. But then I figured I needed to learn more 'proper' gesture drawing and methods, and since, I've struggled to even get motivated to draw. Seeing this and it being a perfectly valid way to draw a thumbnail got me inspired to do that again, and I felt a lot more comfortable about just doing quick thumbnails again. So thanks!

I've been drawing for four hours now, I'm quite happy with how it's coming along.
alright, not gonna lie, i thought the two line thingy was REALLy sus
but like i tried it out and what the hell
everything i've ever drawn from imagination doesn't even come close to how good these poses look, despite me only spending like, what, 3 minutes on these?
additionally, just cos i thought it would be good to add it in here, but i'd like to thank you for every single one of your tutorials. ALL of my knowledge about anatomy, foreshortening, crosshatching, and watercolours [i'm sure i missed some out], is all from your excellent teaching.
