At this point, I'll have watched the entire show through clips recommended by RUclips. The art style is honestly not even that bad... from what I've seen in this one single clip. This scene had a good setup and I was a little interested in what was going on despite never watching the show, but my God. That dialogue and the writing is so bad. I honestly can't wait to just watch this through someone's abridged version.

Snapdragon and Anmerilst started out antagonistic and they are now loved by even the most vindictive haters.

She's wearing a costume. In some scenes she turns around and has a weapon dislodged into her bloody back. She also doesn't seem to be a real student at the school as we never actually see her as a student. The Halloween Episodes is the only time we see her. So maybe she's just a person dressing as a student? But we do know that students have died before so perhaps it's a person dressing up like someone who had died at the school.
Okay maybe she does go to the school. In the episode when Aster first shows up, you can see her in the background when Aster starts to sit his chair. But that version of her has a different eye color. Maybe she's just a recolored version like how Zinnia has a blue hair version of herself who counts as a separate character.
I'm late, but: -the dialogue is unnatural ("No. Lizard. Dumb lizard.") - Cal's only purpose is being a bully, he doesn't have any personality other than that - the worldbuliding makes no sense (why would they have a costume party in a fantasy world where they can shapeshift?) - exposition dumping
This show seems oddly self aware at times.
And yet so unaware of its own short comings that it feels like it was written by AIs... scratch that, AIs at least know how to write dialogue.
