me too....I want to see it cut several different things....not just paper....I am very sus about that static thing....there are items I cant get to cut without a lot of work with a mat now.

@dianachau7857 it has a 24-inch cutting span, but I haven't found anything more than 8 and a half inch paper.

Whats about little dots/points? Are they perfectly round or looks like eggs on card stock? This doesn’t work with my cameo 4.
So how do you cut on longer images if you have a standard electrostatic mat?
2. Hơw do you cut magnet sheets? How does magnet and ES mat work together?
The ES Mat does 12x12 for bigger projects you would have to load it on a mat or without a mat as you can still do both with this machine. Magnet sheets would be interesting 🤔

Hello, thank you for your Cameo 5 presentation, I have a question, would it be possible to record a video while working? I am curious if it is actually quieter than the cameo 4. I have the 4 and it is terribly noisy, making it impossible for me to use it in the evening when the kids are asleep. I would be very grateful to you for such a video.

Are they updating the Cameo Pro 24”. I need a new one but don’t want to buy one if they are going to updated also.
They are not but I have a feeling they are working one something for the 24"
are there adapters for CB09 blades, or can I use adapters that I already have? where to get the embossing tip? does any heat foil work (foil quill etc)? If I get one, it'll be marble or pink
There is a new pen adapter for this one so I'm not to sure about the adapter for CB09 (im new here lol) as for the embossing tip those will be released in the fall as well as the foil pen you can still use the foil quill. love both the pink and marble as well
Okay, on preorder sites, I'm finding the tools, except embossing. Only reason that I may upgrade. It's the only function that I miss from my cricut maker after making the move to cameo 4

Does the ac adapter support 220v electricity? I want buy a cameo 5, but I live in Spain and the electricity is 220v
I think there will be an adapter or the correct power supply when shipped to Spain. I would reach out to silhouette just to verify

Yes it does. I’m thinking of switching to silhouette for this machine. The software is just a learn curve for me at the moment.

I don't know why in the dozens of videos I've seen they don't start the machine to know how much noise it makes when cutting! Are they hiding something?
So that machine cuts regular vinyl without a mat?
All the machines can cut vinyl without a mat. All the way back to the original Cameo

As others stated I would have liked to see it in action so I could hear it to compare with my 4 which is god awful noisy.

I am concerned that changing from GEAR drive to BELT drive will affect the accuracy of the cuts. I would rather have a noisy machine hat cuts accurately than a quiet machine that has in accurate cuts. I had a Cricut (first 12 " version) and switched to Silhouette for this reason. please don't tell me I need to switch back!

I'm thinking about selling my Cameo machines to justify buying the 5. LOL!
why are we using bluetooth still???Its unstable and full of problems. Wifi is much more stable and bigger communication path.
They did mention updating the bluetooth at the show
Getting rid of Bluetooth would be better but it would require a complete software revision.
Is the weight of it heavy to pick up?
I like that The vinyl cutter I now have (Brothers Scan n Cut 2) has a screen on it/built in and some software, etc. I don't have to connect to wifi or anything just to use it or pull anything up that's on the machine (Don't have to operate Or carry 2 electronics around, laptop...) And when I want to use wifi...I can, with purchase of that feature... which is Something I don't like, having to purchase individual features... The Electricity Goes Off Too Much to properly use wifi or anything... Have to consistently reboot....
⚡️I am looking for another vinyl cutter with great customer service. Mine are Terrible! And when your product becomes discontinued, you can't find replacements for the material/ tools you need such as mats. They are great for the simplicity of operating the machine, but terrible with keeping available supplies. I had the machine about 3yrs. or so, and they go n discontinues it. ⚡️I'm interested in this white Cameo 5, but more so something with screen. Also interested n d Curio 2.⚡️ Hope I Make The Right Decision on What To Get Next.💥
