@@kelidus while I'm inclined to say that you're right, I think Wally would have eventually figured out a way to escape the void by other means if Albrecht didn't open the initial portal. A being that thrives upon social deception and creating seeds of doubt could not find an entrance with someone with no inclination towards socialization and is very sure of their choices As an autistic person it’s refreshing to see
A fun little fact about Sevagoth not mentioned is that the song Sleeping in the cold Below is actually a derivative of a little lullaby that Sevagoth would sing to himself while lost in the void which the sisters eventually took as their own.
I love how every warframe is either getting sacrificed or be heroes or just depressing Then u got 2 warframe Kullervo: Criminal, Criminal, Criminal Lavos: I turn a man into Soup. The Soup is alive
Something else worth mentioning about nezha’s leverian- at the end, the narrator asks what a warframe could possibly have in common with a child soldier. This gave away that entire section of the lore to me before I even got my second warframe. Deadass went “oh they’re child soldiers aren’t they”
I bet those kids later became Tenno too, because where did Nezha take them afterwards? In the story, the child that told the Corpus investigator what happened said that they went to join Nezha’s “heavenly army”, implying that perhaps they became new Tenno through the teachings of transference by Margulis and the Lotus. We know that there were special schools established for the Tenno… perhaps the Orokin discovered how to replicate the process that gave the original Tenno their void powers. But, that’s just a theory. A GAME THEORY!
Man, Kullervo's story makes a lot of sense. Ballas uses him as a scapegoat (betrays him), that's why he has all those knives in his body as if someone was stabbing him in the back.
Which means that he's innocent. Another commenter said that his arena only appears in 3 emotion spirals. Anger, fear, sorrow, which he must've felt after being jailed.
Kullervo's story is so sad! He probably did everything he could to get ballas' favor, which leads me to beleive he was a tenno controlled frame. A child, looking for someone to love him, in this new world where everyone sees him as a monster.
@@jadestory8410adding onto what you said, if that is the case then it makes a lot of sense why the children of Duviri are so heavily connected to him!
in the fight against him in duviri, during the third phase, he also spawns these shadow creatures that seem to have a face that's very similar to the warden's, and when you kill them one of them quite literally stabs kullervo in the back, which feels like it supports this conclusion

I love how theres TOXIC MIASMA frames, LITERAL DIMENSIONAL manipulators, ANTIMATER frames, etc and DAGATH is one of the strongest frame by literally THROWING HORSES TO THE ENEMY
@judeamogabe8306 every peice of orokin tech had some biological element. Having a 100% pure machine was a big no-no for orokin which is why it was so difficult to get them to agree to making the sentients. They where the first 100% machine thing the orokin built and it immediately backfired
About the "names give power" part, I think it's because a name would give an identity, and therefore would lead to more personality. Something like how nier handles its android names, if dagath had a name she would've felt more like an individual instead of a part of the body of dax warriors. Something to think about. Also, I love how long the umbra section is.
as mentioned above, i do think that’s kind of true but it’s less magic and more that the Orokin were so monumentally cruel that even the slightest bit of metaphorical “power”, the agency and individuality to give meaning to an attachment, was privilege that even the Dax were not deserving of. To the Orokin, a Dax had as much agency as a household appliance and as much as you can humanize a fridge or a car… at the end of the day they are not “human”. You do not expect your car to form bonds or have hobbies or wants and needs. Still, one needs to look at the origin of the term “fragging” to see why disregarding the humanity of your subordinates is a bad idea.
@@hambor12I can't think of "fragging" as anything other than me doing amazing in a video game or hobby or activity and screaming "IM FRAGGING OUT RIGHT NOW"
Pretty much. Having no name plays with the mind: "I just exist.". Having a name makes an identity: "I am someone". An identity is a very basic right that even pets have, so basic that we don't even think about it almost at all. For someone who didn't have this basic right it makes a huge difference and it gives a lot of power in the form of agency and higher social status. You can also think about it this way: we only give names to things that matter to us.
I remember pre-railjack that the De Facto currency warframe was Oberon since he used to drop like candy from eximus units People used to do “goat sacrifices” as a luck ritual before doing relics by selling off a complete set of oberon parts
You missed a very important detail in Voruna’s Story. The tenno controlling her was supposed to be the executor’s new body. It was upon seeing the tenno and recognizing them that she took the Kuva.
Yep, she really didn't want to lose her therapist and her pack and even tho maybe her operator was smart enough and was the one who advised her to do so to save the op and reunite and resurrect her pack, or maybe it was desperate move by her to just resurrect her pack and save her operator. It was a Kill 2 birds with one stone move
How could it be a tenno? Aren't they neither alive nor dead due to being touched by the void? How would you consciousness transfer into them. I don't recall the game ever mentioning it was Vorunas operator. Nor that the tenno void imbued kids could have transference done to them.
@@thedoomslayer5863 "Within the cryopod, the child's eyelids fluttered and Voruna... staggered. In what scratchy stills survived in Void-corrupted datamasses, what I saw between child and Warframe was... recognition" They both recognized each other because that was her operator. Also, He isn't the only one to try using a tenno as the Kuva Queen tried to do the same to the player in "The War Within" Quest.
8:50 I think with Dagath's story and the Orokin couple's rule about naming is less about power in the "magic sense" and more in the Power Dynamic sense. For the Orokin couple, The Dax that would become Dagath was their taboo little toy whose appeal was inherently because she was a Dax, a lowly bodyguard with forbidden "steamy" allure. And because she was but a servant, she obediently followed orders and played the role of this "forbidden romance partner". Her value was not as an individual but as an embodiment of a trope, a gross simplification of a character. Adding things like attachments and wants and needs outside of the assigned "role" Dagath was unnecessary complications. This is probably also why the Orokin couple threw Dagath away when she was turned into a warframe. There was no "danger" to their relationship, the Orokin couple figured. Yes, she'd already been doing nothing but Follow Orders to begin with but ironically it was only interesting to them when there was a Power Dynamic of a lower class servant and a royal couple. Now it was just a royal couple and their very expensive sex doll. It wasn't fun if it wasn't taboo.
Yes I agree the Orokin couple only liked Dagath because it was taboo when she was a Dax warrior. Once she became a Warframe it wasn’t taboo anymore and they lost interest. Also, her Warframe face freaked them out because it was always smiling.
Also there's the question that I'm sure R34 would love to answer being, how do you "copulate" with a Warframe? Can you even do that? And if it were possible wouldn't you risk becoming infected? And depending on the official answers to such questions our Wisp Warframe may end up serving......other purposes......
@@serinahighcomasi2248 Do you mean the dating thing for the "Protoframes"? Dont you only have a kiss scene with them? Or did DE go full balls to the wall and let you clap some Nyx cheeks?
Oh yea there is a bit of info about gara that should be mentioned: in her prime trailer ball(a)s tells us that the person who became gara prime volontiered instead of getting kiddnaped. Nihil then wants to jaden light her ass, but ballas laughts at his ass and proceeds to "glass" her via giving her cool glass powers
Tuvul: You want us, the Orokin government, to turn you into a warframe to protect your girlfriend who is a building? What kind of request is that? We should Glass you for this insolence Ballas and Gara simultaneously : aight bet
I like to think that the lore is a strong component of why the Warframe community is one of the most kind and giving communities in gaming. Sure the background, almost subconscious thought of saving someone the horrid grind you personally went through is there, but i think, underneath it all, Its because we know that the characters and warframes we love, from the sassy "must be hard being poor" snark from Baro, to the "Be better than the you of yesterday" harsh lessons from Teshin, right down to the "you cant keep me down" attitude of the Vent Kids want us to be the best version of ourselves we can achieve. To be the best Tenno you can, you help others (Sevagoth, Inaros, Rell/Harrow, Jade probably, Neewa (not a warframe but you get the idea)) To be the best Tenno you can, you grow and learn from your past decisions trauma and mistakes (Voruna, Lavos, Umbra, Stalker) To be the best Tenno you can, you sacrifice your own happiness for the joy or safety of someone else (Citrine, and many others) (Please dont give your life for things, youre human, not a godlike machine-zombie hybrid) To be the best Tenno you can, you dont let injustice and immorality pass by when you can do something to stop it (Mag, Grendel) To be the best Tenno you can, you do the best YOU can to see the future you want come to life (Gauss, Limbo) No one is asking you to do the impossible. Warframe teaches you to do what you can, and the Tenno just happen to be really damn good at what they do. Warframe and its lore subconsciously teaches its community to be Heroes. Even if only a little. Even if only in a video game. And I think thats cool.
Nah my main takeaway is I need to go to space, find some weird point in space that disobeys all laws of existence then shake the hand of some doppelganger of me and then I get cool void powers and ascend to a higher being.
I feel like there's something really misunderstood about Lavos' story, or at least how it's told in this video, and I don't know if it's just me reading too much into it. From my perspective in the story, it's not that Javi whispered non-sense to Lavos, scribbling on the wall and Lavos suddenly figuring it out, it's that Lavos was getting taught how to use alchemy and transmutation by Javi himself in order to defect. The way it's told that Lavos was extremely punctual, beatings, food and water, all at the same time each day, much like a student going to class, the beatings being a disguise, Javi getting brutally beat but knowing that that was the only way it'd work and wouldn't raise suspicion, which is SO METAL and cool and gives their story such depth. And also Lavos' syandana in the Leverian literally calling Javi and Lavos teacher and student respectively and that Javi was teaching Lavos.
another thing to note about dagath's face..how she was basically called a doll... yeah, that's not a lie. we can see her face in dagath's hallow in the dojo. those stone faces are HER face and it is mad creepy with her just standing there and staring with that smile.
So she went from forbidden sex doll to discarded Warframe sex doll... I wonder if the story implies that the Orokin couple tried to "make it work" with her Warframe body before tossing her out.
Mild note on Parvos and the Corpus. The Orokin *never* like Corpus, they tolerated them since they became to big of a conglomerate for them to just squash. It's part of why Ballas made Vauban, as in his respective prime trailer. Protea was a reluctant capitulation from the Orokin, the reason why of currently unknown.
If I'm remembering correctly, Protea was created as part of a deal between the Orokin and Parvos. Parvis had created Specters and the Orokin wanted the tech so Parvos made a deal in that, in exchange for the Specter tech, he would get a Warframe made with his design, as we found out in Protea Prime's video. So similar to Caliban, Protea has two creators: Ballas who made her and Parvos who came up with the design for her.
I love the humor in these videos. It reminds me of Bricky and his WH40k summarized series. A mix of memes and lore that doesn't take itself seriously and embraces the insanity of the setting. Love it! Make more videos like this.
That's so awesome to hear because he's definitely an inspiration. Him, Bizly, Gigguk, Isyander and Koda, and Sir_Superhero on tiktok were all things I would watch to get the creative thoughts flowing (if you happen to know those folks.
I think your theory about Kullervo's crimes actually influences when his arena spawns in the spirals (the crimes he actually did makes the arena spawn only in fear, anger, and sorrow). The 2nd crime being fear for his cowardice, the 3rd crime for his sorrow for killing his mother, and the 7th crime for trying to kill Ballas out of anger. Just something that would make a little more sense for his arena forming only sometimes.
Glad that worked out! I remember being in the writing process and going "Alright, I need some levity after this. I can't have Inaros be after this, that would be double sad."
Yo i love all the lore, just wanted to give some more details on one frame Voruna. Voruna was ment to guard the tower and be obedient to that Orokin guy (i don't remember his name so let's call him Greg). But all the continuity shenanigans happened and turned out Greg wanted to use a Tenno sleeping in a cryopod as the vessel, Voruna feeling a connection to the child and wanted to protect it killing Greg and then she used the Kuva on herself to bring back the doggos, after that it's described that Voruna felt the connection to the child and took it with her, cradling it in her arms as she left. Presumably the Tenno she saved was herself which she didn't realized. That's all i had to add, absolutely love the lore vids!
I really wish he would have shown up to defend the Operator from Stalker. Like when Stalker holds up his scythe, suddenly Umbra appears with his sword. It would have been dope (he's one of my favorites too)
Dagath, im pretty sure, is based on a Celtic faery called a Dullahan, think the grim reaper meets headless horseman except this faery carries it head by its side as it rides through the night. The idea that knowing something's true name gives you power over it is a theme in Celtic myth. Youre never supposed to tell a member of the fae your real name as it could let them place a hex on you or do any number of evil things. You're never supposed to make deals with them either cause despite what they promise, making a deal with them is either like a Monkey's paw thing or they'll always want your first born child. Her lore is very old world myth-like and I REALLY love it.
And it's also a gateway for R34 Warframe to have a field day.... You know what she was "used for" by the Orokin couple pre Warframe body. Who's to say she didn't serve the same use for a time in her new Warframe body. Hey wisssppppp lol.
Loved the rundown of the Warframes, but what actually made me subscribe were the short "pitch meeting" segments in front of the whiteboard. Stellar stuff
This game's lore is what probably made me stick with it for such a long time. Its just soo cool yet simple to understand when you try to understand it. Thank you for making this great summary. It was a great refresher and I'm sure it will come in handy to many new players.
I still remember playing when the Sacrifice quest came out, and just being stunned and surprised by the Umbra reveal after equipping the frame My older brother recently started playing Warframe, and this quest hasn’t been spoiled for him, I CANNOT wait for his reaction.
At the time, I wasn't even that caught up on the lore, but I still felt it in my bones that this was big deal when Umbra lunged out and grabbed our Operator from the Arsenal. I hope your brother loves their experience!
Man I love your warframe lore videos. I like their dynamic, the jokes and references that make them entertaining (not saying warframe lore isn't entertaining or interesting, quite the opposite), I also like your style, the clothes you wear give you an unique look that sets you apart from just a regular dude wearing the first thing they found in their drawer. What I love the most is that you explain everything in such a beautiful way, other warframe lore content creators would often quote the codex and thats it; thats something I could do myself but putting this much time and passion into a well structured script and video is something I find delightful. Everytime you tie the knots or some plot twist happens, a gasp followed by a big smile draws on my face. Please keep going with what you're doing, a lot of people will thank you for it.
There's also this dude called SocraTetris that also dives into warframe lore and he makes really cool analogies between the warframe world building and the real world history. It gives you a really good perspective of what the thought process of the devs might have been and what inspired them to make such a beautiful story. The first example that comes to mind is the whole Narmer faction based off the first king of Egypt, Narmer, who unified the South and the North parts of Egypt and ruled them both. I think this goes well with the whole Origin and Tau system thing going on and the whole purpose of the Narmer faction ingame
The Orokin occupy that category of sci-fi factions who are 'the dumbest smart people.' Smart enough to be technically advanced, not smart enough to avoid making odd decisions. Also, Rell is the GOAT. RIP King.
My theory about Kullervo's crimes is that he was at first not responcible for the charges he was given but then because the orokin weren't being fair with him or had this fear of orokin prison that he just thought "i already been found guilty by the bad people and now have 3 death sentences, might as well do more bad against the bad people"
Now we'll just have to wait for Jade and the new Stalker quest to get more new lore... This video was amazing. The last line, "take away the pain of the origin system" really hits hard!. Great video!!!
I love how when this went live, near the end people in chat were saying "take it's pain away" "take it's pain away", and I was just sitting and smiling thinking to myself "They have no idea it's coming. This'll be fun"
that final speech really reach me to heart. i know what's the point of the Tenno, but this kinda open my eye and make me understand what it meant. thank you O' Loremaster, i'll continue to listen to your story, your ramble, and even your jokes. and i will continue to enjoy it, every second of the way. ps.(i finally got Protea after one hell of a grind for that one part.)
Congrats on getting Protea! And thank you for the kind words, definitely put some time into making sure that ending hit just right for me, so glad I could impart that feeling to some of you guys too!
For a fun breadcrumb trail, read some of Parvos early lore fragments about how/where he got the idea to found the Corprus. Consider that Protea's powers only transport people to places they've already been. And really pay attention when the Captain lady is "rescued" to what you hear and what you don't see. And that Loid mentions having to defend the Sanctum from Parvos "thugs" in the past.
So many people seem confused about the nature of warframe sentience or the existence of first gen frames. I've even seem some people claim the prime frames are the original frames. Maybe that can be a topic for a future video, the second dream seems to cause a lot of confusion.
I think the prime frames are the original versions that were sealed away after the orokin fell. The regular ones are possibly a mass-produced version that Ballas probably had made after but is never actually confirmed, but is a theory I had.
@@Aquageo555 No, some frames started as prime others didn't, the ones that did start as prime were likely created AFTER the discovery of the tenno since they had transference bolts. The original frames don't have transference bolts and were without piolets, think like Stalker and Jade in the recent update. The Warframes we make and use today, even the primes, are just copies that follow the blueprints of the long dead originals.
While I don't have any theories to add to this smorgasbord of lore, I do want to shout out two honorary Tenno from other works: Hayden Tenno - darkSector: Literally the Tenno's namesake from a meta perspective as they took their name from Hayden's surname (and the Japanese word roughly meaning "Heavenly Emperor", which is also the honorific used for Japan's Emperor), Hayden Tenno was a CIA Agent sent to investigate a mysterious plague in the fictional nation of Lasria that he winds up infected with, eventually becoming a powerful armor set for him. That armor wound up in Warframe as the Proto-Armor Skin for Excalibur, and a boss from darkSector also became a unique skin for Nyx. Prior to a few retcons, Hayden Tenno was also said to have been the first Tenno by DE; it looks like Warframe 1999 is going to be a redo of darkSector's modern Earth setting, redressed so that Arthur is Hayden's equivalent. Firefly - Honkai: Star Rail: Firefly is likely one of the first examples of Warframe being used as a reference point in designing a character's lore and backstory. Firefly is an adorable little cutie patootie (...Sorry) who is one of the few, if not only, survivors of the Iron Knights of Glamoth, superpowered artificial humans created to defend Glamoth from the Swarms of Tayzzyronth, Aeon of The Propagation (think one of HSR's Gods), using powerful armor suits known as Strategic Assault Mechas, or SAMs; kind of like how the Tenno were used by the Orokin to defend Origin from the Sentients via using their Warframes to channel their Void powers. The effort the Iron Knights went through to save Glamoth ultimately failed, though, and Glamoth fell to the fell bugs of The Propagation while Firefly fled into interstellar space; eventually coming into contact with the mysterious Elio who offered to give her a purpose in life if she worked for him as an agent of the criminal organization known as the Stellaron Hunters. Under the Stellaron Hunters, Firefly would use her SAM, a cross between a Kamen Rider, a Tekkaman, the Turn A Gundam, and a masculine version of the Warframe Ember to wreak utter havoc and devastation but she was always frustrated by this as she wanted to be more - think of her as a post-Old War Tenno but without the Lotus to guide her - eventually leading Elio to direct her to go to the planet Penacony where she would wind up meeting the Nameless, followers of Akivili, Aeon of The Trailblaze and the group HSR's player-character, the Trailblazer, belongs to, and forge some genuine friendships with the group, especially the Trailblazer. Oh, also, Firefly is sick like the Tenno but instead of rampant Void poisoning she deals with something called "Entropy Loss Syndrome", a disease built in to the Iron Cavalry's human components by the Glamothian leadership so as to not have to rehabilitate them after the Swarm had been dealt with that basically means she experiences time more slowly and eventually will just fade from existence as Creation moves on without her.
"Picture this, you're playing warframe in 2015" I don't have to picture this. I remember. Warframe is one of the most wildest rides you can have in the world of gaming industry. At first it's a confusing mess, as you get hold of the systems, combat and the cycle of constantly upgrading your gear... But then something hit you. You learn about the story of this world, you're being constantly questioned if whatever you're doing is right. Why things like wrath are considered a "good" or "white" choice, while emptiness or lack of emotions is considered "black" choice. And in some quests you're hit even more. Warframe's aren't just robots or meat puppets condemned in metal coffins. They were all people. They were humans... With shattered minds, tortured beyond imagination, shunned for whatever they were at this specific point in time. It's this type of things which made us rethink some things. Was it right? Are we the good guys? Was it even worth it? Yes, I'm talking about the game where you slaughter enemies by millions. Burn them, decapitate them, crush, send into different reality of melt into biological pulp. These are these little stories which made us sit down and think: "Maybe small acts of kindness, having someone open up to you, care for you. Maybe knowing you're not alone is enough... And maybe all we need is just hope."
Beautifully written my friend. If somebody just wants to play Warframe for the explosions and grinding and stuff, that is totally fine, but I appreciate that they've added this narrative layer to it for anyone that's interested
A neat thing about the Unum being made of flesh, it was based on an old glitch where if you were to shoot some walls in the void, their bullet holes would be bloody ones instead of the proper rocky bullet holes.
The Gauss and Grendel one was pretty damn good. But Excalibur Umbra...dude. I didn't know what the lore was back then, but me living the lore of Excalibur Umbra was awesome. And you explaining the lore of everything until Excalibur Umbra made me wanna play it again. Excalibur Umbra was a loving father. Reliving the memory of him killing his son over and over again, until we came. We basically made him regain peace and made him forgive himself. Now he is in our side and is actually still around. Ordis (Spoilers)during the new quest was searching around for whoever entered our ship, and actually called out for us and then Umbra. So he is still around on our ship just...doing whatever the hell he does and not some throwaway Frame. I'm glad about that.

Amazing video and as a lore nut I appreciate them especially with the jokes thrown in as a lot of them got a good chuckle from me. The only point I was iffy on is Harrow because (and correct me if i'm wrong) iirc the Harrow frame itself is of unknown origins and was believed to be a gift from Wally to Rell only for it to later become their prison. I think it's in the lore entry or somewhere around (it's been a long time) that mentions Harrow was already ON the Zariman something that shouldn't have even been feasible at the time given the warframe timeline and just showed how otherworldly and powerful Wally really was. Edit: also as a lore nut extremely excited for Jade's release. Can't wait to get more info on the stalker and to learn just how/why theres now a stalker....for the stalker.

@@Phoenix973Limbo : "The risks were calculated, but boy am I bad at math ! "
Didn't even think of the knife analogy but that definitely works!
8:00 “They reacted with thoughtfulness and maturity. Oh c’mon it’s the Orokin, they executed the HORSE!” That had me absolutely ROLLING the way you said horse
Fun fact about kullervo: his arena only spawns during anger, sorrow and fear spirals which are presumably the emotions he felt after getting imprisoned
So he infact is innocent.

About the "names give power" part, I think it's because a name would give an identity, and therefore would lead to more personality. Something like how nier handles its android names, if dagath had a name she would've felt more like an individual instead of a part of the body of dax warriors. Something to think about.
Also, I love how long the umbra section is.
Kinda like how Dresden Files works with naming things, in a way. How a Lash is different than a Lasciel.
as mentioned above, i do think that’s kind of true but it’s less magic and more that the Orokin were so monumentally cruel that even the slightest bit of metaphorical “power”, the agency and individuality to give meaning to an attachment, was privilege that even the Dax were not deserving of.

@@thedoomslayer5863 "Within the cryopod, the child's eyelids fluttered and Voruna... staggered. In what scratchy stills survived in Void-corrupted datamasses, what I saw between child and Warframe was... recognition"
They both recognized each other because that was her operator.

I definitely appreciate the points made here! It's an interesting theory! Thank you for your contribution to the library!

I like to think that the lore is a strong component of why the Warframe community is one of the most kind and giving communities in gaming.
Sure the background, almost subconscious thought of saving someone the horrid grind you personally went through is there, but i think, underneath it all, Its because we know that the characters and warframes we love,
from the sassy "must be hard being poor" snark from Baro,
to the "Be better than the you of yesterday" harsh lessons from Teshin,
right down to the "you cant keep me down" attitude of the Vent Kids
want us to be the best version of ourselves we can achieve.
To be the best Tenno you can, you help others (Sevagoth, Inaros, Rell/Harrow, Jade probably, Neewa (not a warframe but you get the idea))
To be the best Tenno you can, you grow and learn from your past decisions trauma and mistakes (Voruna, Lavos, Umbra, Stalker)
To be the best Tenno you can, you sacrifice your own happiness for the joy or safety of someone else (Citrine, and many others) (Please dont give your life for things, youre human, not a godlike machine-zombie hybrid)
To be the best Tenno you can, you dont let injustice and immorality pass by when you can do something to stop it (Mag, Grendel)
To be the best Tenno you can, you do the best YOU can to see the future you want come to life (Gauss, Limbo)
No one is asking you to do the impossible.

That sounds better actually 👌
another thing to note about dagath's face..how she was basically called a doll... yeah, that's not a lie. we can see her face in dagath's hallow in the dojo. those stone faces are HER face and it is mad creepy with her just standing there and staring with that smile.
We end as we began... With my favourite frame!

Fun fact umbra cononicly walks around your orbiter and work as a guard, he's also my favrout warframe I hope thay do more with him in the future

Consider that Protea's powers only transport people to places they've already been. And really pay attention when the Captain lady is "rescued" to what you hear and what you don't see. And that Loid mentions having to defend the Sanctum from Parvos "thugs" in the past.

I always thought prime warframes were the peak versions of their performance: where everything was golden
While I don't have any theories to add to this smorgasbord of lore, I do want to shout out two honorary Tenno from other works:
Hayden Tenno - darkSector: Literally the Tenno's namesake from a meta perspective as they took their name from Hayden's surname (and the Japanese word roughly meaning "Heavenly Emperor", which is also the honorific used for Japan's Emperor), Hayden Tenno was a CIA Agent sent to investigate a mysterious plague in the fictional nation of Lasria that he winds up infected with, eventually becoming a powerful armor set for him.

Epic video bro, 2nd of yours I've watched and I'm loving the content❤
Knifes for days, an ancient reference, but an appriciated one indeed!
Wait, it's not that old is it?! (also glad you caught it lol, I like how with each reference I add there's always at least one person who gets it lol)
Great video man we really appreciate your efforts, i really enjoyed this and the first part and your other lore videos, keep it up
YAAAAAAASS and with Queen Titania on the thumbnail too let's go
1:01:56 Also have his sister be named Eleanor (Like from the myth), and be Excalibur's female counterpart, Nyx
hear me out. every warframe should have its own mini playable campaign (pov story)
That would be lovely, but also take a ton of time and effort so I can see why DE might hold back a bit.
I found your page from part 1 in my recommendations great vids wish there where longer i like to play and listen
35:40 I think they didn't do it because if he ever survived the jade light, people will eventually found out about it and raise even more interest regarding alchemy and transmutation.
Good point, they probably could've kept it a secret somehow though I imagine.
Love your vid and your performance - twists of storytelling and hang ups :-) Good job!
It May be cheating but its alluded to in khoras prime trailer that she was made by ballas to honour margulis after she was executed
Ballas once again, the wierdest and biggest simp in warframe. my god
This, this was beautiful. Thank you for your hard work.
SO I have almost 5,000 hours in Warframe (I'm a Gyre/Protea main) and I have watched the warframe 101 playlist like 4 times this week. O great lore master do I have a problem? 🤣
Not at all my friend. If the videos bring you joy or interest you then I am glad to hear it! As long as they don't harm your ability to take care of yourself.
As a Nova main, that was short, sweet, to the point, and I love every bit of it.
We love our anti-matter queen.
I am CONVINCED that Ash is what's left of the Beast of Bones. If you know, you know.
I guess if they turned *only* his dead body, then maybe he could be Ash? Turning someone into a cephalon involves glassing their brain to turn them, so there's no way Ash could have a personality.
So Cephilon Ordis, previously known as Ordin Karis is... Ash?
@@popkb Unless they introduce another Warframe that first his lore better, yeah. I just can't see the Orokin letting the body of their greatest assassin go to waste.
Warframe is what happens when a bunch of optimists make a grimdark universe
-somebody on the internet i don’t remember
That was the wisest "somebody" I've ever heard lol
31:58 he's mentioned a 'farm' a few times in this video and the previous. Could someone fill me in as to what these were?
Farm= Afterlife
Like...
The ship blow and the captain was send to a farm. = The ship blow and the captain is gone for good, MF is not coming back from that, he is dead as fuck.
@@pegaferno4429 Sure thing. "Sending someone to a farm" means they get killed off.
@@corgthemighty Thanks mate. Good vid, haven't played Warframe since before the railjacks released so it was nice hearing about the lore I missed. Keep it up!
Thank you so much! And glad I could catch you up on some of it!
I have to admit "You are immortal. One mistake makes that otherwise." Is such a fire line.
Finally... glass lady story
We finally got it, the lesbian glass
@AllucardBR-JPFS she would've gone for citrine but atlas too fast.
Though jade remains unguarded

@@eggseed6543jade is OVERguarded (ha) by stalker. Also mega dead.
@@thedoomslayer5863 homegirl got no girls left.... it's over...
You wrapped that up really nicely, almost brought a tear to my eye! Great vid!
