  • One of my Patreons recommended this breakdown, and as soon as I heard the beat again it had to skip the line. It is just that good. Also it had been way too long since the last 9th Wonder breakdown.

This is the kinda chop that only works when the drums glue it all together. He probably used an mpc to chop it up while playing the drum break

      He used FL Studio

Even though I agree, I'm not sure how he processed the sample, maybe some sidechain helped ducking the drums in the last 2 chops, or it was some specific filtering technique.... this one keeps me up at night

A@@Narokx he slowed it down, para eq on a low filter , then put a echo on voice sample and for drums he basically motherduckers with a input ( which I don't know how he did on fruity loops) low eq'd the other sounds....
Just my opinion not fact...that's what I kinda do on my Mpc's and 61 keys

The first time I heard this song, I actually got emotional! The combination of 9th"s track and the words Median was spittin', DAMN! AND Median was really talking to the world of HIP-HOP!

One of my favorite songs from Median and 9th Wonder, I honestly wished 9th could do a album with Median. Median is really needed again man. "How Big Is Your World?" first time I heard it I cried, and maybe it's because Median took his time to put his heart in it. I always wanted to freestyle to this beat and have yet to, anybody that rhyme on it cannot bullshit around.

Bro, its not that difficult. Don't think producers look at the sound waves and just piece together shit. They just chop the parts they like and piece them together using drums. The hard part is making it sound good and then mixing it

Naaaah, I ain't never heard Joey or J.Cole on this lmao! Nah no other major rap artist touch this other than Median. You must mean that "Wonders of J.Cole" unofficial bullshit ass mixtape that someone threw that instrumental on with that song. Nah that shit was terrible. Median only done this and done it right

This was back when 9th wonder did beats on FL studio and was actually doing amazing stuff with samples and had insane beats no wonder Jay-Z put him on black album
And now when he moved to mpc he is not even close to his original style that blasted him up to the top
