Great job. Mr. Freeze was the very first sympathetic villain that made me tear up. His story is the best example of *"I never wanted to be this way, the world forced me too"* or something like that.
Looking back Mr Freeze has always been a amazing villain I can agree with you some of his appearances they don't do him right to me He is The Tragic Batman Villain and that's the best version of him seriously in the comics they have really done him terrible still amazing video with a really good song

Honestly, I believe that Arkham DLC thing probably had the best ending for Freeze. He dies yes, but he finally reunited with Nora. So they both go together at peace. Most tragic happy ending ever 😢
I agree, it was actually one of the best endings I’ve ever seen for a villain. Although personally I thought the Batman Beyond ending for him was even more sad because it wasn’t happy or hopeful at all.

I also feel the 'Harley Quinn' TV series actually did the character justice and gave him a good ending (I just wish they didn't have Nora go off with that Greek god so quickly and/or explained that she basically stopped screwing that god eventually due to realising she still missed her husband).
Great Tribute. Freeze is the opposite of Dent. Where as Two Face has very good appearances outside of comics that stick to the tragic nature of the character for the most part, every depiction of Freeze in media just ignore his tragic nature and portray him as a generic villain. It is baffling how they keep ruining Freeze.
Personally I feel that Freeze is worse in comics than in media. At least outside comics a few versions of him stay true to TAS like in the Arkham games. And yeah I really don’t understand why writers don’t understand Freeze considering the fact that one of the only things he’s known for is being sympathetic and yet they can’t even get that right.
Especially Gotham where they only used his tragic backstory and the character of Nora for about 2 episodes of Season 2 before killing Nora off and turning Victor into a generic henchman of other villains like Hugo Strange, Penguin and Jerome.
@@Xehanort10 Agreed although they could have said that Freeze worked for Hugo because he promised to bring Nora back to life but they didn't think of that. After his two parter Freeze didn't have any motivation whatsoever which was a waste.
That's exactly where I thought Freeze's Gotham storyline in Season 2 was going. That Strange promised to resurrect Nora if Freeze helped him but no. He just became muscle doing different things for different people for no reason. In Season 3 there was a conversation between Freeze and Penguin where he said he wanted to cure his frozen condition but that was dropped in Season 4.

I remember Freeze telling Penguin that he wanted to cure himself but it didn't make any sense to me that this version of Freeze would want to do that since he didn't want to live in the first place and it was never mentioned again anyway. I think his goal after that was just to make others suffer the way he suffered which is why he joined the Legion of Horribles. I actually read on his Gotham wiki article that when Jerome made a guy laugh to death all the villains were shocked by it except for Freeze who apparently enjoyed it. It's not really a motivation I like for him (I didn't like it in the New Batman Adventures either).
Good job, there is one storie in Legends of the dark knight that doesn't physically envolve Nora and one of the stories from the bronze age had the first sympethatic version of Freeze, besides that yeah I agree they should just use Heart of Ice in some way or another instead of giving us nonsensical twists that are other garbadge and end with Freeze being locked in a glass tube for all iternity, speaking of which, sorry I couldn't manage to upload the Freeze video I said I'd do, there was always something or anoter that held me back on doing it, I might revisit it someday though, I mean that ending to that storie sure wa.....nanobots solve everything and screw up everything appearently.
I'm honestly not sure which Legends of the Dark Knight story you're talking about since when I tried getting into that title I found out there was an insane amount of Freeze stories in the later part of that series. I did read the one that Mr. Rogues put as #1 on his top 5 Mr. Freeze stories list though which I enjoyed and I agree that it's probably the best story with the guy in the main continuity at least. I can actually understand the writers wanting to do something different with the character but considering that it's basically never worked out well they really need to stop doing that and go back to what made the TAS Freeze great. Sorry you couldn't upload that Freeze video, I was really looking forward to it but I understand if you can’t make it. Also, I do have a bit of a problem myself, when I uploaded this video for some reason RUclips made some of the scenes look much more blurry. I was planning to delete and try re-uploading it but I have a bad habit of always publishing my videos right away and so a lot of people started watching and commenting on the video before I could do it and I didn't have the heart to do it. It pisses me off so much but I don't really know what to do.
It was Cold Case, the one Rouges put as his number one is a great Freeze storie as well, but I prefer Cold Case over the other, now that I think about it yeah you´re right, their was a tune of Freeze comics during the end of it, to bad most of those stories are of mixed quality. I´ll do upload the comic review someday, as I kinda want to start on making videos similair to Rouges´s old stuff once in a while (cought top 5 worst stories), I´ll keap it on my PC till then though. Yeah I highly suggest you private your videos before publishing them, I did so to and it makes uploading, finishing editing and writing the descriptions much more relaxing and it´s better if you want think your opinions on the character through, or like you said fix some editing problems, I actually had a problem with OBS, it recorded both my voice on the PC and my voice per microphone, which is why everything I recorded was in a ecoing voice that would loupe twice and I just didn´t feel like recording it again at that time. As for a different subject regarding RUclips...……...uhhh so has COPPA actually already happened, did you need to click if this video was for kids or not when you uploaded it, or RUclips just made another false claim just like with Article 13 and RUclips heroes and I can safely upload my videos agian?

It's pretty cool you might do videos similar to Rogues, I hope your problems aren't too significant. I was thinking of doing videos like that too but I'm so new to video editing that tributes are literally the only videos I know how to make. As for COPPA, it hasn't done jack shit so far which is why I didn't even bother mentioning it in the description. In fact, it's so anti-climactic that I'm pretty sure everyone was overreacting. I kind of figured this would happen since these types of laws are so hard to enforce and the lawmakers always seem to be too lazy to actually implement them anyway which was the same thing that happened to Article 13. I prefer the AK ending. It was tragic but uplifting. For the first time, Freeze was happy or at least content.
