    I keep hearing this same advice on how to shoot but I feel like a get no power from my wrist. It always feels like the ball is slipping/rolling off my fingers at my release instead of snapping forward. Because of this I struggle to get the ball to the rim at the college three distance while being 6’1”

      Thank you so much for your question! It sounds like you are not loading your legs when you go into your shot. If this is the case, then you are lacking stability (power and balance) which comes from your legs. To remedy this, put pressure from the balls of your feet through your toes with a wide base so if someone were to push you, you wouldn't be pushed over. Now your legs are loaded! Get in a stance, slightly lower than you are used to (exaggeration) and then shoot the basketball with this mentality: when your legs extend, your arms extend. Then you snap your wrist and lock your elbow. Then hold your follow through for 2 seconds. We promise you will see a boost in your jump shot power.

      It depends on the shooter. This works better for some players and not as well for others. Do you normally jump when you shoot right now?

    Coach, where can i pick the power of my shot? is it on my hand or my legs?

      Great question, @AllainLuy! The power of your shot actually comes from a combination of both your legs and your hand. Your legs provide the foundation and drive, while your hand and follow-through control the precision and release. Focus on building strength and coordination in both areas to improve your shot.     Kinda doesn't work for me, I think it's because I am skinny. I don't enough power to shoot. And my basketball is size 7 and it's standard size but it's heavy for me😢😢
