Watching a video like this & seeing the look on your face, as you showed each record, is for me why collecting the physical format is so special! I would feel exactly the same if I were in your shoes! Just brilliant mate & I’m absolutely made up for you Thomas! What a haul!🤘🏻
This is definitely the best feeling of physical collecting and why we all do it! I don't always find stuff like this, but when I do, I feel like the happiest person in the world for a minute! As you saw, hahaha. This a haul I will not forget quickly! Cheers Marc!
Zo cool om, jouw channel te leren kennen door Jurgen en Aaron (MT), Fantastische albums en dat hier in NL! Heathen is mijn favoriet, maar eerlijk gezegd als ik maar eentje zou vinden zou ik zo happy zijn. Cheers
Insane record haul from a local shop! The best record from this was Forbidden Evil and Deicide first album! Rare albums on vinyl! I just subscribed, Cheers man!
Wow awesome haul Tom! That's wicked they're all OG's, they all look in fantastic condition. Alters of madness I've heard a little from, same with Deicede. The others I haven't listened to yet, but really great to see all these classic bands like Destruction, Dark Angel, Heathen and Forbidden. Nice one man, enjoy! 😊🤘
Dude, yet another six bands you need to add to the never ending list of new stuff to check out! These are all classics compared to some obscure stuff I can show, so you cant go wrong with these bangers!
@@mercyfulmetal7324 Yeah I know man. I have actually listened to a little of the new stuff by Heathen and Destruction, nothing else. I haven't listened to any of Dark Angel or Fobidden yet, but I'll get there! I'll get to all of them eventually! 😊🤘
The dude came by my work today, with a bag full of records that were going out! All the early Kreator stuff, the early Bathory stuff. He also had first pressings of Carnivore, Death, more Dark Angel, Twisted Sister, Sodom, so much! Really insane stuff. I also wanted to grab the first Sodom ep but that was already going out to someone else.
Great haul Thomas. Excellent original pick ups here especially that Deicide LP. Seeing how happy you are to pick these up made the video even more enjoyable. Excellent stuff mate
I think anyone in my shoes would feel like this! Such a haul from your local record store? A change I don't often get so I am more than pleased. Cheers man!
Great haul Thomas, your enthusiasm is infectious mate all fantastic albums Deicide S/T is not just an awesome debut but one of the best Death Metal albums of all time, IMO enjoy mate.🤘🏻👍👍🤘🏻

Amazing finds there Thomas, especially how they were from a local store as well. You can see from your reactions what they mean to you. Definitely the finds of the year. Enjoy the new tunes mate
Good stuff bro.!! I have every one of those you mentioned in my personal collection.. all first pressings. Also I saw Diecide on that tour.. the first record... in a small Club amazing. 💯
Really great looking OG's. Do have an OG of Altars of Madness, so think that Dark Angel and Deicide are the winners of these. But overall a fantastic pick up. Sometimes you don't need words....... Cheers.
there is a song with this lyrics "when you see a chance, take it....." congrats my friend, hope this happens to many more vc members!!! cheers and happy spinnings
Dear Thomas, you look very happy, Congrats! It's same as my situation when I got OG vinyl of MEDIEVAL STEEL 12" back in the begining of this century. There still wasn't (or just establiished?) Discogs or like kind, so our local record shop seems not so familiar with price range and offer me as one of a "giveaway in the cardboard box" of maybe flat rate $5 LP!! Hahaha. I'm afraid this kind of luck NEVER come around again anyway 🙃
Damn, that is an amazing story! I don't think you'll ever get that luck nowadays! That Medieval Steel is still one of those big gems I'm after! Just so you know, I really appreciate all your nice comments as of lately! Cheers Tom
I love how you had a chapter point "building tension". These were all bangers, thankfully I have the ones I want except that debut Dark Angel which I need to listen to, and then you show the freaking Deicide and I want to find out where you live, use Google Maps to work out what record store this is, and get myself on the top of the list.....
Hit me up if you ever visit the Netherlands, I will show you the way, hahaha. But man, definitely check out that Dark Angel debut! Imagine if on Kill em All they tried to sound like Darkness Descends. I know it chronologically doesn't make sense but that is what We Have Arrived sounds like.
Money comes and goes at least once a month but certain OGs you gotta jump on them when they turn up! All sweet additions especially the Morbid Angel and Deicide they look mint 🤘🏻🤘🏻

Whenever reissues get out of hand in price, I would rather pay a little more to get an OG. Look at the stuff of Demolition Hammer or Vio-lence, the reissues are almost as high as an original!

Mastodon - "Emperor Of Sand" Kylesa - "Ultraviolet" Black Breath - "Sentenced To Life" and "Heavy Breathing" (this band only made three albums, but I like to say they worshipped at the altar of Entombed) King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard - "Infest The Rats Nest" and "Murder Of The Universe" Lamb Of God - "As The Palaces Burn" (completing the trinity of albums of theirs that I wanted, the others being "Ashes Of The Wake" and "Sacrament". I might buy "Resolution" and "VII", but I'm on the fence about them. I like them, but at the moment, I feel satisfied with having the three albums that I and most think are their pinnacle work). The Devil Wears Prada - "With Roots Above, And Branches Below" Killswitch Engage - "The End Of Heartache" (Together with "As Daylight Dies", these are the only two of their albums I've bought and I don't see myself buying any others because I don't care for their stuff with Jesse Leach on the mic. Howard Jones was the best!) Spiritbox - "Eternal Blue"
You are right about Lamb of God. Really dropped off after Sacrament. Ashes was their greatest work imo.. But Alive or Just Breathing is a must own. Its their best no doubt. I didn't mind Heartache either but it's a shadow compared to their first
@@norbitcleaverhook5040 Yeah, I feel the same about Ashes. I gave "Alive Or Just Breathing" a shot, but I just didn't like it.... I never clicked with Jesse's voice.
