I have had a Microsoft surface for my in car tuning, and it works well. Small, and fits in the glove box of the Saturn Sky Looks like a built in screen when you prop it up in there. And stays right in place
Let the laptop run for at least half an hour then test - probably running virus scan at startup by default - and is built into Windows. The solid state disc (eMMC) in this laptop will just means it will work - disc access is usually the big performance hit - and with this you can use virtual ram without much of a negative impact.
Amazon says it comes with windows 10S For those that don't know you need to turn off S mode to run hptuners. Also you can dial that little guy up with some more virtual memory and the editor wouldn't lag. Would also smooth out the data logging live. I would also dump all of the bloat files and operations. All in all that laptop would be a great choice with some tweaks. Send me 1 Kyle I will give that thing a huge performance upgrade (settings only)
I turned off all services and uninstalled all boatyard. I told windows defender to ignore all incoming and outgoing communications from hptuners. You then turn up the virtual memory to match the size of the physical memory.

I want to start tuning. Ive watched alot of your videos. I live in sweden, cars are mostly european here and i dont know what program is good for tuning european cars. I want to learn tuning BMW because i like the RWD. Its very fun in snowy or even rainy days.

My tuning laptop currently is about 5 years old, I had to unplug the speakers because they made a terrible noise all the time, the keyboard has been replaced, along with the battery (still shit) and while having a 17 inch monitor is nice at times its almost difficult to lug around! For $200 this may be a replacement. Thanks!
Need help. I ordered a tune for an ls swap with a stage 2 cam. Computer already unlocked and tune already in vehicle working fine. Question is , I swapped another vehicle of mine and already deleted the vats and stuff. Can I write my old trucks tune on this vehicle or do I have to go in and physically change everything by hand on ho tuner for that vehicle? Same cam and specs same motor on both vehicles.
Can you please do a fix for the aem wide and to serial output on Windows 11? I’m kinda broke cannot afford the newer wideband lol I’m in college. I have a 2004 Silverado so the odb2 reader will not read if I upgrade to that and I can’t find a fix to get the wideband to read on serial output and I’ve tried everything.

It's a 2017 sierra 2wd 5.3 L83 with 6l80 w/ 2800-3000 stall, F.B.O. High lift stage 4 cam, all new top end, valves titanium dual springs and retainers, long tubes, true dual and custom HP tune. Was fine for several thousand miles (≈3k) after the last work done to it. Then started noticing higher Temps. Temps will keep climbing under acceleration. (Have seen 250-260+ couple times) After letting off Temps will drop right back to normal. The entire cooling system has been replaced chasing the problem. Tried 3 different thermostat temperatures all with the same results. Have new all aluminum 3 core radiator twice as thick as the stock one. New fans, water pump, lines, tanks everything. Have even set the fans to run at 70% at 150 degrees, and 95% at 170 degrees. Have drained and flushed 3 times. Parked on hills to "get the air bubbles out", and even deleted the heater core from the equation before to make sure and all still with the same results. Has anyone experienced this in their life? I'm to the point of selling the truck. Only thing I can think is a tune issue. Thanks in advance for any help.

I downloaded the mpvi version and drivers but when I go to Device manager it says it can't download the mpvi drivers
