Melody of Mirage I believe was shown as Generic as well early on yet is also a Mipedian Mugic in the TCG and sadly a Similar but Better Mugic Song of Reversal was shown but Never Released. As it would just be Melody of Mirage but throwing the attack back in the opponents face. If it did the full damage including Elements and Other Effects it would probably be the most Broken Mugic at 2 Copies Paired with Droskin IRL. Pretty sure it was generic at 1 Counter Cost in the show as well to boot. So you would Negate and Entire Attack and Deal all the Damage Back all for 1 Counter.

Kids of all ages should watch and know this series, so they must show this series and others I know on Boomerang agree.
CodeMaster: “Can you handle Ursus?” Tom: “Where did you scan him?🤯” US: “Good Question. Where did you scan him??? 😤😢 oh right we’ll never find out won’t we”
My surprise with this episode is until Tom was down to his last creature he didn't realize something was off despite being in the Krellin drome and no code master announcer.
I was hoping they'd do a code master per season after season 3 so that the show would last a while and every season would have a new boss slash location to explore
The Codemasters' outfits leave me thinking they're some form of human diplomats for Perim or some kind of royalty. But after reading their bio on the Chaotic Wiki, they look more like the personifications of online admins
I know transferring a code of you into an alternative universe is cool and all but for the code masters to be able to simulate the song of future sight may as well be their most impressive feat yet. Like you have to be able to see into the future using tech not magic which is beyond genius! Makes you wonder about the origins of chaotic and who the technical genius behind it is!
oh wow an actual channel that uploads full length episodes? has the copyright worn off or something? nice. Anyways, this is by far my favorite Chaotic episode, I loved this as a kid and enjoy it even more now. Seeing the difference made by technical skill, the main character actually losing, the importance to both character arcs and story arcs and the twist. It's what cements it as one of the best episodes for me. Sure, some other episodes may be more action-packed like when Maxxor and Chaor fought A'aune, or more emotional like Hoton's backstory, but none quite have the same blend as this one. The best part about this is Ursis is a pretty mid-tier creature on his own apparently. Ursis is only a beast on the battlefield when he has other support creatures with him. The idea that a creature who's bad at solo can win a 1v6 with the right tools and strategy really helps sell how skilled the Codemasters are. Lastly, Tom already had a way to defeat Droskin, but his choice of cards were so poor he lost the 1v6. In episode 8, Tom disabled Klay's Flux Bauble spamming Magmon with Mezzmar by taking the battle to Iron Pillar. If Tom had just thought rationally and included such an important location, he wouldn't had struggled so much against Ursis.
Amzen is the one codemaster I really wanted to see, due to that she seems to be the only female codemaster, and that means she could use flirting with her opponents as a way to throw them off their game. Seeing as each codemaster seems to try and get an emotional response from them.
What do you mean? In Tom and Crellan’s official match he didn’t try to throw him off his game via emotions. When he battles Hottek there isn’t an emotional reaction. Sure Hotteck was a jerk, but they kind of played it as that was just his personality. I see where your thought process is going, but I think the Codemasters wouldn’t try to mess with the emotions just because that’s an immature and cheap tactic
so i've always wondered, is that what he normally looks like? Do code masters just walk around normally? how does no one recognise them outside there armor?
Does any else think its weird that these episodes got there own channel on here Maybe this means its getting a reboot Plus what exactly are code masters another mystery we need solved
I’m surprised Tom Never Considered adding Interess to his team. He could’ve Asked peyton to give him a Scan of Interess. Also Why Use Staluk? His stats aren’t impressive, mezzmar’s stats aren’t so great either but he has more wisdom than Staluk. I mean Tangath is a good creature to use with his sword and all but, Interess is fast, Wise and couragous and she can do Water and Earth attacks. I know he mentioned it when he was watching Peyton and Krystella’s match but we don’t see him add interess until the final episode of season 1 (i think.)
Eh prob only got it later after becoming more friendly with Maxxor, Intress, and Najarin. I imagine he didn't have a copy of her at first, and Peyton might just have the one
Headcanon time! At 4:18, the creature Imthor uses looks like it has a tentacle. This is a HUGE reach, but I like to imagine that he uses M'arillians, and since the Doors of the Deep haven't opened yet, he's currently the only one who uses M'arillians.
I admit I was playing the game when I was a young adult and I blew a lot of my pay on Ultra rare cards. Because of this some people straight up refused to play me but man did I have fun. One person even asked me if I was a code master and I said "No, but sometimes I feel like one." However, even I started as a guppy. I once beat an Ultra Rare creature with Rellim (my Strengthening Bond attack took away his energy boosting battlegear)
It's funny you say that I have a Non Elemental Attack Deck with Stacked Locations for Past Creatures with 2 Ursis since it's not Unique Legendary Etc, 1 Cromaxx, 1 Smildon all Past Creatures, 1 Wrenges a Generic Overworld Healer with a 1 Cost 15 Point Heal with 2 Mugic Counters and Base Najarin in the back. Mugic Deck is Stacked Too with the Most Digusting Generic Mugic. And the Star of the Deck is both Ursis have Bodel's Dagger which makes all Non Elemental Non Stat Check Attacks do an Extra 10 Damage which practically all my attacking deck is and the few that aren't are good in their own right for other reason which is like 5 of the 20 that still do damage and effects. And the Good Attacks are Stupid Xenocentric Wrath is a Garunteed 30 with Dagger do to "Tribelessness" on a 2 Cost Non Elemental Attack. Primal Smash is a 1 Cost Unique doing 30 with Dagger as well. Retalliatory Strike is a 3 Cost 5 Damage Dagger Boosted to 15 that also adds on the damage of the last attack. And you get the Idea this shit is nuts. Doesn't hit as hard as Slashclaw Khorror or the Highest Elemental Stack Builds. But requires way less Setup and Forthought and is Way More Consistent.
The reason why Chaotic was one of my favorite TCG shows was because the main cast have equal amounts of wins & loses. And they actually struggle during matches & their game plans.
@@Aluhcav I see your train of thought, but as I told someone else, messing with another player's emotions during a match is an immature and cheap tactic, so I cannot imagine any Code Master doing that.
@@jamesburton7756 Well here's the thing about that. Code Masters are meant to help you get ready for any kind of new challenges, and there would be plenty of other players that might do that. So in truth it's just a new challenge to over come.
Greatest issue with the tcg is that it took so long for Prexxor Chasm creatures to come out, and they were Tribeless! Ursis didn't have his three mugician counters as well, a total nerf of his potential as a tank/muge to an overworld deck
It's precisely BECAUSE Codemasters have seriously rare and powerful cards that players have to be at the top of their game to win, as they won't have the type of rare cards that Codemasters do.
One thing I feel I should point out to everyone commenting how excited they are to see Tom and everyone else when the series' restart comes out? Ya know what's weird? In the show, the Song of Translocation is a Generic Mugic. But in the tcg, it's a Mipedian Mugic with a different effect.
It is probably just an animation error. This show was made on a shoestring budget.
I think it's a show only card like it only exists in the show and when it was made in real life they decided to make it different.
3:28 You know I kinda feel bad for Tom. I know exactly how he feels I know that Maxxor was his favorite card to use he was like....the leader of his team. If I lost a card I really liked I'd be bummed too....weather it's a Pokemon Card or Yu-Gi-Oh! Card or...whatever.
Me too, but i wouldnt use that as a excuse to stop playing the game as tom did later on.
@@ytw101 Yeah I know that. He did win a few matches without Maxxor later on right? Didn't he win a match with a Mipedian he used in an episode. I forget the name of the mipedian...oh!...Tiaane...he's the guy that Tom scanned when he was with Payton.
@@foxboxarchives2059 yeah. But after all that he quit because he didnt have a maxxor scan.
This and tianne episode takes place before he was gonna quit
Ursis was my favorite creature. When i first saw it i just had to have it, shame things ended up not going as i wanted. The show stopped and so did the cards
You shouldn't lose hope entirely. Remember, there is a reboot on the way. It's just a matter of waiting for another announcement.
Ursis did get printed though. Perhaps you can buy a copy from someone who is willing to sell it online.
4:15 I think that Code Master must have somehow had access to M'arrillian creatures given those tentacles we saw if they planned ahead that is nice foreshadowing.
Man I can’t believe I still remember watching this with my dad as a kid . It was pretty 🔥 ngl
5:12:
Owis: "Hold my beer."
I love Chaotic, this is one of my favourite anime series that's based on a card game. I'd just wished they made more episodes in this series, and I wish they show this series on Boomerang. Kids of all ages should watch and know this series, so they must show this series and others I know on Boomerang agree.
I wish we saw more Codemasters in this show
Hopefully in the revival.
CodeMaster: “Can you handle Ursus?”
Tom: “Where did you scan him?🤯”
US: “Good Question. Where did you scan him??? 😤😢 oh right we’ll never find out won’t we”
Prexor chasm :3
Man I can REALLY relate to this episode when I play fighting games
Codemaster Crellan is also Zoro from the 4Kids One Piece, Kalin Kessler from yugioh 5ds and Riley from Pokemon!
Not to mention Akihiko Kayaba from Sword Art Online
Let's not forgot one and only black swordsman himself!
And Helia from Winx Club!
My surprise with this episode is until Tom was down to his last creature he didn't realize something was off despite being in the Krellin drome and no code master announcer.
They weren’t in the Krellin Drome they were in the Beta Drome.
Tom: Turkey's don't fly!
Sees wild turkeys.
Tom: I stand corrected.😑
I feel like I also learned something from the code master too
I hope we saw all of them in season 4
Yeah...season 4...
*cries in the corner as we never gotten season 4* TAT
@@JoKoBod it coming back so new season is seon 4
I was hoping they'd do a code master per season after season 3 so that the show would last a while and every season would have a new boss slash location to explore
@Jay Harv28 thats what happens with covid lmao
@@tristanpelkey9109 that's actually a fair point🤔
The lessons this episode taught me have stayed with me for a long time
The Codemasters' outfits leave me thinking they're some form of human diplomats for Perim or some kind of royalty.
But after reading their bio on the Chaotic Wiki, they look more like the personifications of online admins
Ursis looked the best in this season scary but bad ass
It’s a shame we never saw crellins creatures in the second seasons style

Sonic the Hedgehog battles Kalin Kessler in Chaotic.
Yeah, but this wasn't an official Codemaster Match. The Codemaster Chronicles is.
@Michael Taylor yeah, just sucks the kitchen ran out of food before we got to see the rest of the menu, 2 dishes and reviews of 3 more.
OH MY GOD I NEVER REALIZED IT WAS KALLIN OH MY GOD. AAAAAAAAAAH
I really hope Jason comes back for the revival. Fingers crossed!
Wouldnt Song of Translocation nix that
It's the owner of chaotic
@Michael Taylor I believe Hotek represents the aggression in the game like how Crellin represents wisdom in the game
The Tribeless Creatures: Nicely Done, Ursis, You Beat One of Tom's Creatures.
If he have that gear to cromaxx not even an army of war beasts could stop him.
That’s a reason to panic
9:32: CASTLE BODRAN IS THE MOST RECENT LOCATION YOU GOT AND IT IS ONE OF THE LOCATIONS YOU KNOW MORE????!!!!!
He was probably looking for Maxxor there.
so i've always wondered, is that what he normally looks like? Do code masters just walk around normally? how does no one recognise them outside there armor?
Codemaster Crellan: "We all face challenges we're not prepared for. The challenges themselves are not important; what matters is how we face them."
The only code master we know what he looks like
14:19 I am having PTSD from that move....
as a first impression being tied by ur own vines and dropped in a chasm
they say you challenge a codemaster but they challenge you
Well. A codemaster can challenge anyone when they feel like it
The last pack of Chaotic cards I opened had an Ursis in it.
Does any else think its weird that these episodes got there own channel on here
Maybe this means its getting a reboot
Plus what exactly are code masters another mystery we need solved
To answer you’re first question the creator of chaotic is uploading all the episodes to get more hype for people to want a reboot
There is a reboot of the card game and the series in the works. It was supposed to be announced in 2020, but covid messed up everything.
Codemaster Crellen is awesome and very wise.
@@ProtossTempest ok
Headcanon time!
At 4:18, the creature Imthor uses looks like it has a tentacle. This is a HUGE reach, but I like to imagine that he uses M'arillians, and since the Doors of the Deep haven't opened yet, he's currently the only one who uses M'arillians.
I admit I was playing the game when I was a young adult and I blew a lot of my pay on Ultra rare cards. Because of this some people straight up refused to play me but man did I have fun. One person even asked me if I was a code master and I said "No, but sometimes I feel like one."
However, even I started as a guppy.
But requires way less Setup and Forthought and is Way More Consistent.
watching this again make me want to see the Codemasters real selves, they kid behind the mask.
So what ARE the Codemasters? Are they just players in costumes or are they living programs like in the matrix?
Sadly never explained.
Why do we see Tom go to earth when he only has to
Tom Majors Sulking
The reason why Chaotic was one of my favorite TCG shows was because the main cast have equal amounts of wins & loses. And they actually struggle during matches & their game plans.
Too bad Tom didn't use any scans of Iron Pillar for this match, that would have countered the droskin.
Here is a lesson when you’re playing trading card games, “it’s the player not the cards”
I keep wondering do you need to win seven matches in a row or just win 7 like win some then lose a few then win the rest later
@Michael Taylor ok but is it 7 in a roy of just 7 like win some now loose some then win the rest
@@zeokingsilver i believe they do fix it later in the invasion of the marillians were it does need to be 7 in a row.
@@zeokingsilver I think it's 7 total.

@@slickt8128 The question is wether or not it's 7 matches in a row.
I wonder which attack Ursis used on Tangath after using the mugic, song of transmutation on him?
16:20 Why the hell is Tom playing Underworld City in an overworld deck?
I hope we see Tom battle Amzen
God, that would be interesting, seeing as you could have her flirt with her opponents to throw them off their game.
@Michael Taylor Same thoughts! I'd love to see something like that put in, plus it wouldn't hurt to show that the players are human.
I would prefer if that was Kaz, a remach would had been awesome.
Can we get this in a higher res?
15:13 gives me chills 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Greatest issue with the tcg is that it took so long for Prexxor Chasm creatures to come out, and they were Tribeless! Ursis didn't have his three mugician counters as well, a total nerf of his potential as a tank/muge to an overworld deck
i get the lesson he was trying to teach but i'm sorry he kept on having his cards do all the talking
It's precisely BECAUSE Codemasters have seriously rare and powerful cards that players have to be at the top of their game to win, as they won't have the type of rare cards that Codemasters do.
I mean his lessons are true. Look at Tom's match with Hotekk
3:55 seriously mood
Turkeys actually do fly.
They jump then suspend themselves they cannot continuously keep flight.
One thing I feel I should point out to everyone commenting how excited they are to see Tom and everyone else when the series' restart comes out? It's been over a decade, they'll most likely want to introduce a new cast. I can't say I'd mind, as awesome as everyone was and I would love to see them again too, seeing new MCs would still be just as awesome! So while I don't prefer one or the other, new characters feels like it'd make more sense.
It’s been stated he wants to pick up where he left off not start again
The Mean Tribeless Creature Wins! :(
Tom vs Crellan
Man can you imagine if Tom had scanned the maxxor that had the fear sickness before this fight? Lol he would’ve probably tossed his scanner in the trash for keeps this time knowing the it’s not the cards but the player bs lol
Codemaster Crelin teaches people the way I do the good ol school of hard knocks the best way to teach a stubborn person
Wasn’t there an episode where tom left chaotic because his only copy of maxor was in real life
Would someone please tell which characters Gregory Abbey voiced in Chaotic? I can't recognise any voice of him on any of them.
