About us:
We're Jack & Megan, and in late 2020 we sold our belongings and packed our lives into our 2005 Toyota Troop Carrier to travel Australia. Our original plan was to complete a full lap of Australia and return home to Perth to resume our 'normal' lives. We decided we wanted to document our lap for the future and began sharing weekly travel vlogs of our life on the road and fell in love vlogging, filmmaking and sharing our lives with you. We completed our first lap and couldn't imagine living any other way so we decided to continue travelling and calling the Troopy home. We have gone on some crazy adventures since then and it is all thanks to you tuning in to join us every week.

I hate crowds ,,, a lot ... but that place was fairly quiet so i could have handled it. Great to see you laughing about the many disappointments so that makes it a great trip and not a bad one. Your attitudes make you awesome to watch !

You should have visited the Sky World pub and restaurant street on the top floor. They have quite a good option's of restaurants and live band lounges there. You'll be basically dining and having drinks in the clouds. There is more to Genting Highlands than meets the eye!😊

Yes, I'm into the nature thing- like that theme park looked like a horrible nightmare. I think that since I've traveled the world in my younger years, Australia is going to be my playground from here on. Good on you guys for doing the Asia experience.👍

Welcome to Malaysia, guys❤ Genting Highland one of my favorite place to hang out mainly cos of the chilling and cooling weather there.
Fyi, Genting is a big company who own many casinos around the world especially in US in Las Vegas and New York too.
Heading to Genting Nov 21st love Malaysia for their cheap food and accommidation. My 7th time there. Won't do the Bali thing again. Malaysia has the best beaches, mountains, food and it is so clean. However being a muslim country alcahol is very scarce. That suits me. Oh plus $2000 au gives you $6000ringgitt. And things are so cheap. Thanksfor the video can't wait to get to there again.

Ok, glad you guys did this one for me....aint no way youre getting me in that gondola and the crowds are a bit horrifying.....but the scenery is beautiful and I loved the temple. Cant wait to see what you do next.
Hahaha 😂, can't blame you as the 1st time traveller especially on the weekends. The queues can be crazily long. There are 2 ways of escaping thru the long queues at the GPO ie either u buy the glass type of ride which cost slightly more or if u are a Silver card members and above where u can enjoy the special priority lanes. Most of our locals here would normally go early around 10am in order to avoid the long queue . Hope tis info can help u in your next trip 😂

Oh my gosh that amusement park looked soo creepy!! It’s so cool to see how different it is over there compared to Perth 😍
Try to see it yourself in the future from 2 pm till 10 pm especially on the weekends. U will experience totally different kinds of environment around. FYI, the Indoor Theme Park only begins at 2pm till 10pm on the weekends. On normal weekdays it will stopped at 9pm. 😂

Usually the Genting highlands will be foggy and crowded with people, a nice and interesting experience to visit

@@itsJackandMeganApart from Genting, there is also Cameron Highlands, which is a cool destination to explore nature and various flower gardens, but the road to reach there is quite windy.
@@itsJackandMeganColmar tropicale next to Genting Higland French village is also interesting to visit but the hotel there is expensive like Genting

Welcome to Malaysia and Welcome to Genting Highlands mate. U guys are actually staying at the basic standard room at the First World Hotel. There are also better n bigger rooms available at the same hotel too like the World Club Room . However, it is mainly reserved for the vvip card members . But If u have slightly more budget for your hotel room then I would suggest to u to stay at the Skyworld Hotel, Awana Hotel, Resort Hotel . Besides that there also lots of other hotel n apartment choices available especially at the Gohtong Jaya areas . There are basically 2 theme parks available besides the Amusement Park. The indoor Theme Park is also known as the Skytropolis TP and the outdoor TP is called the SkyWorld TP. It starts operating from 2pm till 9 pm for the Skytropolis and 11 am to 7 pm for the SkyWorld Outdoor TP. During that time/ timing both places including the amusement park will be very lively , busy, crowded and packed especially during the weekends. Totally different from the so called creepy experience that you had gone through. U should have continue to walk around the Sky Avenue areas where there are plenty of good restaurants choices, pubs especially at the Hilltop floor plus lots of shopping retail outlets available too. There are also 2 main Casinos available at the Sky Avenue. Lim Goh Tong is actually the founder of Genting Highlands. The Gondolas or cable cars will take u down from the Sky Avenue to Genting Premium Outlet. U have option to stop at the Chin Swee Temple or to go directly to GPO for your shopping . During the rainy season especially in the month of Nov to Dec it can be extremely cold and windy too. Happy holidays and safe journey to both of you. Btw, the crazy taxi ride at that speed is a norm for our locals here. So don't worry about it.

From the video, u guys actually missed the trip to the Genting Premium Outlet after visiting the Chin Swee Temple . Instead of continuing going down using the Gondola/cable car to GPO , u guys made a U-turn instead. FYI, business activities starts at 10 am at the GPO. Usually the tourists or visitors would have their breakfast earlier at the Sky Avenue first before going down to the GPO for shopping. Plenty of restaurants n cafes choices around . However, there are also food stalls and restaurants available too shall u choose to eat at the GPO. Lastly, I actually feel very weird and find it kinda funny watching at the areas n places that u are walking around at the Sky Avenue. It is mostly like the Exit or walking thru the backdoor of a place whereby there are actually lots of happening places around 😂. Anyway, hope u come back again n experience the Outdoor and Indoor Theme Park activities/rides. U guys would probably like it very much after that. 😂

amber court. it is actually an old condominium just behind the first world hotel... i guess you can actually see it when you first had that view of genting while waiting for your elevator/lift..😉

Not just Amber Court but at the Ria Apartment too where there are 2 blocks namely the Pahang and Selangor Block. Previously, there was a bridge near the current Police station and also nearby the Ria Apartment too where it is called the Lovers Bridge. It was closed many years ago as they had many committed suicide cases from both the gamblers and failed relationship Lovers. Apparently, many had experienced bad memories staying at that Apartment besides the Amber Court Condominium. It is located right after the sharp corner on your right before reaching the Skyworld. There is a Police station nearby where you will never miss passing through.
I'm sorry, but the best theme park is the Aussie Outback. Bring back the Troopy and the outdoor adventures, please!
