That sequence from 13:18 when Vegeta activates Sparking is so perfect and faithful to the series; Vegeta takes the upper hand against his opponent and seems like he's going to win, but in the end he gets owned by a single opportunity attack from the enemy. Having a hard time to believe what just happened while uttering his last words and ending the sequence at 13:44, he's defeated and hopeless. This game is something else.

I'm currently using Piccolo, Goku and Tien. Tien feels super solid in this game. I don't like how his 1 meter tri-beam super drains health, I think that should only be for the level 3 one, but he plays dope regardless.
Agree but the good thing about tiens 1 meter is it can be comboed into any characters super even the airborne ones which some characters cannot making it 1 of the best 1 meter supers in game imo

Mitchell Johnson ginyu isn't really about optimal combos. He's more about constant pressure. I drop my combos a lot on purpose in order set up more pressure when I use ginyu. But once he gets the ball rolling he can utilize certain assists to never stop. One time I even baited a guy to hit me and that cause him to get killed by my guy
I AM GAMER Im talking about folks at a high level using him, i don't have the game so i don't know the online scene for him. Maybe a lot of people are but how many are actually putting in work tho?

Buddy would've probably have done way better with that SSB Vegeta and Goku team if he'd stuck with Tien instead of Captain Ginyu. Also, Sonic Fox is really good, particularly that series in the final match where buddy kept raw tagging out his Goku and Fox just waited on the raw tag twice, down fierce launched that auto super dash when you raw tag a character and dragon rushed switched out (idk the proper terminology) to force Goku back out, lol shit was ruthless, but very cerebral.
Derek Neal yes that was my point. the assist still plays a role in that. if the opponent doesn't block the other way and you hit them while there blocking a assist you'll get the hit.
I've notice a lot of players do this but when they are in the air they cancel down heavy and continue their air combo HOW DO U DO THAT!! I know how jump cancel but I can figure out out how cancel the down heavy while your in the air
KingCole94 you don't, what you have to do is grounded combo to a jump cancel then do light, medium to a midair launcher with down heavy, not all characters have this though, and after that dash towards your opponent and do light, medium jump cancel, light, medium, Downheavy combo, the launcher upwards isnt a smash anymore, after your down heavy just spam autocombo with lightattack.
I know he's still learning the characters, but I don't think Android 16 and Hit fit his usual zoning playstyle, though I'm instered in him playing Goku Black

Assists can never cross up in this game, so that Hit setup with Goku black just straight doesn't work.
