Yeah but you feel better working hard doing your thing as opposed to having a boss. I've always said this side hustle can be life changing especially now with stock market hitting 52week lows. Putting in 12hour days or more and going hard for the next 6-8months could set you up for life if you pick the right investments

@@EverythingSportsStopUber and DoorDash are not investments. They are predatory gigs that prey on the desperate and the dumb. I know. I did them for a year. Smart people don't invest in things that daily devalue their assets and cash, and never increase in personal value. Learning jujitsu is an investment. Working out and eating right is an investment. Beating up your car, spending a huge chunk of your budget on gas and paying double or even triple for insurance while never getting a raise is not an investment. It's a liability.

It’s easy for the first month or two. When you’re 6 months in doing it everyday they start to cap you with longer wait times, longer drives, lower paying orders, etc.. that goes for every gig app. Then again they were never meant to be a long term employment option so it is what it is.

      This is Ludacris.
I've done several 12 hour shifts and never seen more than $140 during a 12 hour shift.
These driving apps will throttle your trip pay so you'll only average about $10.00 per hour and that's less than minimum wage.
NOT TO MENTION THE COST OF GAS AND WEAR AND TEAR ON YOUR VEHICLE 😂

Did you mean you share the same name as the rapper LUDACRIS or did you mean THIS IS LUDICROUS! 😂
In any case, I mostly agree with you; we must be in very similar markets…l usually average more like 12 though. I could NEVER do 12 hours though. Never. Bless your tough little heart, bless this guys’ heart, (in the vid) I just couldn’t do it. I usually do 3-5. One time I did 7 and a half almost 8, (for all intents and purposes ). Never again! I just can’t see a scenario in which I do 12 hours straight. If am not making money after a certain amount of time , there’s no way I’d have the drive to hang on for 12. And if am making bank, then well, I’d be happy and log off at some point (that is not 12 hrs later for sure).
The kind of mindset I have to put myself into for the 5 hours is that for the books, so there is most definitely no way I could manage 12. The patience you guyz have is so crazy to me. I have to await the next day to mentally re-energize and start with the craziness again lol. It ain’t no way. Much respect to you guyz, I take my hats off to you guyz, and I really mean it!

Because of Uber’s rise in fees they’re charging customers, the tip/mileage differential has been godawful since April. Too many bad tips that have a 10-20mi drop-off location. Unless you live in a killer market, expect it to be an uphill battle to get to 200 bucks a day, every day. I generally pick orders that are at least $1/mi each way with a max of 10mi.

  • @DjBillman

Another factor is how fast the restaurant has the order ready. In some areas it’s quicker. The longer you have to wait the less jobs you can do. Lunch time is a bust dinner time is great from 5:30-9. But you won’t get more then 10-12 deliveries because most restaurants at least in my area take forever and hardly have the food ready when you arrive so u have to wait 5-10 min every single time sadly
