Because of Uber’s rise in fees they’re charging customers, the tip/mileage differential has been godawful since April. Too many bad tips that have a 10-20mi drop-off location. Unless you live in a killer market, expect it to be an uphill battle to get to 200 bucks a day, every day. I generally pick orders that are at least $1/mi each way with a max of 10mi.

Ohh, so if the customer does not receive their delivery, uber DOES NOT reimburse the customer any more? I was wondering about that because uber used to take that out of the driver's earnings however, I haven't had hat happen in a while when people reported not receiving their food. I'm very glad they stopped that cuz people do lie and say any damn thing these days
A lot has changed since this video was posted. The economy keeps getting worse. I was making 200-300 a day now all the good offers have completely vanished. In Phx AZ it is DONE FOR. WAY too many drivers.
I easily make $250 a day as a side gig when I don’t have planned construction work. Factor in about 10hrs in the car about 8hrs of actually driving, around $40 in gas. Not a bad instant wage for easy “work”
I think there is too much uber eats content that overcomplicates things. I like that you just give the milk toast advice that work and dont require much effort.
1 flex route at 330 am. $89-100. take deliveries going back home then work till 9. get home when market opens, put options in, breakfast. costco instacart at 10 for drop. drive back home and take orders on the way. by now easily over $200. if you’re lucky get a 2nd flex block at 5 for $84+ for 3.5hrs at 5.
I do uber eats in Eugene Oregon, and some days they offer me nothing but 2-3 dollar orders. not per mile, total (tip included). Those days I usually make about 20-40 bucks in 10 hours, but then ill see other uber eats drivers at a pick that have worse stats then mine and they'll say they've been getting 30-40 dollar offers. Uber sucks
I quit doing UE over a year ago and gave it a try one day last summer. It offered me $4 to go 20 miles one way. Nope. Lasted 30 minutes and gave up and haven't done it since.
Don't forget to deduct $20-$25 a day and buying snacks/drinks. I do bring food and a lot of drinks with me. But I still spend about $10-$15 on food. So subtract $30-$40 a day. I do ue/dd 7 days a week and about 10 hours a day. I make about $200 a day.
This doesn’t work if it’s super slow in your area, then you have to waste gas driving to a more busy area. In the end, you’re just splitting even with the cost of gas.
I have had 200 dollars days, but I haven't been able to do that every day. My area is smaller than Portland, but we still have about a million people. The main downside to delivering is all the miles on my car.
My market, I usually have to drive 4-5 hours to get to $100 but I’ve done 12 hour shifts, and sometimes, it takes all 12 hours to get to $200. So it’s doable, but like you said, depends on the market as well.
$200 a day minus taxes, gas and vehicle depreciation makes it more like $120-150 If your lucky. Also sitting in that damn traffic is terrible. Not bad for a side hustle. But with the price of cars and repairs. Is it really worth it?
Damn, in 7 hours? That's pretty good. I'm in Charlotte. I do door dash. My account with uber was messed up for some reason. I couldn't get deliveries so i made a new one. Waiting for the background to drop. Hope i get uber eats deliveries now. I have to work like 10 hours or more to make 230 or so.
Not as easy as it looks. Think about driving 8+ hours every day. Not everyone can do that. When I took a road trip, 4-5 hours driving every day is already the limit.
And are in public in a city in America that might have lots of violence. Also delivering to entitled customers who can lie about not getting their food and have you fired.
Ain't no way lol I was over there last year for 3 months uber eats is dead in CS you get like a decent order every hour. I was there for Thanksgiving weekend and only got a few orders on UberEATS 🤣
Except the gov calculates you are taking .55 cents of equity oflut of yiur car for every mile. Which means every 500 miles is taking about $265 of equity out of your car. That's a lot of money, these in city trips are costly
How would you go about researching a good area for dashing. The city in which I reside is only average pay on a good day. Should I look into cities near me with a higher population, median income? Any advice would be appreciated!
More population almost always means more money and in my area, the places that have high income are REALLY high income and they tip really well so if you can deliver in those areas it should help

Yeah on the west coast they get paid I was visiting Seattle for a week made like $178 for 3 days straight
Yeah the best I've seen is people who work in the bay area. They pull $300/day doing pretty much the same thing as I do here
@@owenlindstrom but then you pay out your nose for the price of living... So $300 sounds like a lot, but it's not. I'm from the Bay.
Ur not adding in the gas prices for these deliveries. So subtract the gas money from this 200 a day. This could easily bring your ur total at the end of the day to 150. Its still like having a 9-5. Also dont forget about uncle sam during tax season. Thanks
Thank you.for this.. I just did a 12 hour shift. And made 80 dollars. And I have a rangerover it takes 60 bucks to fill it up.. I took 20 bucks out my pocket along with my quicktrip fuel points/cause UBER doesn't give us any ...to give me a half a tank of gas... and after my 12 hours I still went home on E.. so that would have been 40 bucks made on a 12 shift..plus all the wear and tear on my tires ..and car running daily across town..... and if people don't tip...we don't eat!!!!... Uber robs us and they know it.. and being self employed after a. Certain limits you WILL PAY OUT
IRS, where are you??? 👀 @Big_Bruv_Innit
who tf drives 50$ worth of gas a day 😂 i get high 30’s in my camry max 10$ every 2 days. if i do an amazon flex route then it’s $20 a day
@Big_Bruv_Innit IRS is looking for you everywhere.
$1,400... 7 days.
Have you gotten the latest Uber eats bot ? You can make roughly $ 2500 weekly
Depends on where you live... Orlando, not so much this is why i just suck it up and do rides
If I do 250$ a day for 30 days straight that’s 7500$ a month x 2 months that’s 15000$ that’s my goal. This week I made 720$ but missed 2 days so I could of easily made over 1000$
Could have or could've never could of
That's because you guys receive reasonable requests, but we or I don't
Gotta count out those taxes Bro or you will be f’d around April.
minus gas, wear and tear on your car. taxes? minus all that and see what it comes out to.
Facts!!!!!
A profit of like $800 at the end of the week.
You pay taxes sure, but you also claim all your tax deductions and benefits, it helps reduce the sting of your expenses.
I usually have to do 30+ trips to make $200. Nearly all of my offers available are $3-9 range. (Granted most are within 3km)
I'm in Phoenix AZ now. I just moved from Tucson. It's slow in Tucson and I had no idea how much money you could make in 6 hours residing in Phoenix. I make 250 to 300 a day working 6 to 8 hours. I Quit my day job. My boss just hired me and was furious. 😂
Which app do you use because GrubHub is kinda slow?
Is the PHX market still doing well?
how😳😳 i make 100 in 7-8 hours
@dabert9589 Don't take low paying orders dude. If they can't tip fuck em. They can pick the shit up themselves. Don't let people take advantage of you.
Ain't no way your making that much in 6-8 hours.. I work in the Phoenix area and only make 100-130 in 6 hours.. What part of Phoenix you work? Cause I need to go to that area cause I work all parts here
Not possible in Houston, tx
Preach brother. I just made $64 on a Friday night in Atascocita from 730 pm to 4am. 🗑️ Trash
@@darthphaser2991that's why you gotta do it earlier than that. I start at 6 am go til 10am wait til noon go til 3 then from 5pm til I'm unable to do so
You should do voice overs, become a news broadcaster, or a radio host! You have the perfect voice. I had so many people tell me this growing up. I played with the idea of becoming a news anchor. I ran from it and now I wish I’d pursued it. 😊
First time i see a video on a sunny day in oregone
Uber recently stopped giving refunds for purchased items not received. This will affect tips for drivers.
Uber eat is just pizza delivery job but for every business. It has always average $25 an hour.
Long ago .. its less now.. I heard it use to be really nice when they 1st started ....but that's all companies
A lot has changed since this video was posted. The economy keeps getting worse. I was making 200-300 a day now all the good offers have completely vanished. In Phx AZ it is DONE FOR. WAY too many drivers.
Sadly y'all are making 200 I'm barley getting delivery request and if I do it's one min pay 2.80 on my bike I might give up...
Mcdo employee treats u like shit
Get a full-time job nothing is wrong with that
I easily make $250 a day as a side gig when I don’t have planned construction work. Factor in about 10hrs in the car about 8hrs of actually driving, around $40 in gas. Not a bad instant wage for easy “work”
Nice an actually well done loop. Bravo 👏
I made $360 yesterday with uber eats ...best paying delivery job is the shop and pays.
I think there is too much uber eats content that overcomplicates things. I like that you just give the milk toast advice that work and dont require much effort.
It's great if you are a Student cause you can Just listen to your lectures while you Drive and study in your down time
Man I worked 8.5 hrs and made $85 on a Friday! It was super slow! I was pissed 😂
Cmon😂 8 hrs and only $85. I make $100 everyday in less than 5 hrs
Me too 7 hours $55
Yessir! You just gotta be in the right place and know how to work the system!
I’m clocked out at 11 orders 🥴 idk how you do 19 a day
Fr bro he pushing it but it’s honestly motivating to know what’s achievable now
@@akidunknxwn9566 true!!
Have coffee after 4 hours, you will drive for another 4 hours
Lazy
@@automotivetv9861 I will be in the restroom 🚽 😂
1 flex route at 330 am. $89-100. take deliveries going back home then work till 9. get home when market opens, put options in, breakfast. costco instacart at 10 for drop. drive back home and take orders on the way. by now easily over $200. if you’re lucky get a 2nd flex block at 5 for $84+ for 3.5hrs at 5.
I’m from Portland!!! 🙌🏽 whoop!!
whoop!!!
Question, Is that $200 profit, or do you still need to deduct the fuel costs?
I sometimes do this with my cousin at night when we have nothing to do and just want to go for a drive.
I live in a town of around 200K; I’m lucky to make $100/day. Working 12 hours is easy; although I usually don’t work more than 9.
In the Netherlands you get €5 per order. If you work 12 hours straight, you make €100 max
Yikes 😳
The more regular customers you get the bigger tips you will get!!
This doesn’t work if it’s super slow in your area, then you have to waste gas driving to a more busy area. In the end, you’re just splitting even with the cost of gas.
Can get a beater car specifically for this, a car you don't care about too much & work it like a horse.
The thing about it is that 8 hours is spread throughout the day
Not everyone can do this and as you stated in your first example, it depends where you live.
How many did you decline or just let the timer run out?
I am a newbie lol. Trying to learn the ropes
Minus maintenance, repairs , insurance , fuel , food , internet . Tell me how much you got after these expenses.
Hood educated and not lame related ❤❤❤
I have had 200 dollars days, but I haven't been able to do that every day. My area is smaller than Portland, but we still have about a million people. The main downside to delivering is all the miles on my car.
The peak times are also a variable
My market, I usually have to drive 4-5 hours to get to $100 but I’ve done 12 hour shifts, and sometimes, it takes all 12 hours to get to $200. So it’s doable, but like you said, depends on the market as well.
This is the video I was hoping to see from you, the amount I could do is probably half because Portland is so much larger than my area
Bottom line treat it like a real job 8 to 12 hours
I’ve made $500/day on Uber taxi in Lake Tahoe summer time
It’s the waiting that kills me
that cute little green watering jug
Depends on your location for sure
Make sure you put away for maintenance. Oil change, tires, etc.
Remind me when your car get 200k miles. It will break!!
17 deliveries, and you make $200? In that time I make like $100 if I'm lucky wtf
$200 a day minus taxes, gas and vehicle depreciation makes it more like $120-150 If your lucky. Also sitting in that damn traffic is terrible. Not bad for a side hustle. But with the price of cars and repairs. Is it really worth it?
Have you gotten the latest Uber eats bot ? You can make roughly $ 2500 weekly
I did 7.5 hours and you get dizzy 😵
Struggling with this full time right now. Great income until you no longer enjoy the stop and go traffic, stoplights, other cars all day long.
@@kirstinhood1251real shit!!!
be grateful. ppl wish they could be in that position
I doordash in that area currently by earn by time and im making a steady 20 an hour, but i need to learn to multi app and maximize
Los Angeles area is over saturated with drivers and low pay.
How much do you spend on gas on days like these? How many miles did you add to your car today?
Have you had any really bad experiences? I've had some that were very anxiety provoking which makes it hard to endure more than a few hours
And are in public in a city in America that might have lots of violence. Also delivering to entitled customers who can lie about not getting their food and have you fired.
Just stay inside it’s a cruel world outside you can’t be crippled from anxiety. Nobody cares
Can you add how many miles you put on your car in a week too?
I guess nobody ever lies on him to get a free meal.
I cover the Kissimmee/Orlando area about 260 deliveries in very hard to break $100 for me
I have a question for when I am in the big city. Am I supposed to jump zones and take long orders?
Most I’ve made with Uber Eats in College Station TX is $260 in 10 hours
Ain't no way lol I was over there last year for 3 months uber eats is dead in CS you get like a decent order every hour. I was there for Thanksgiving weekend and only got a few orders on UberEATS 🤣
So if I understood you correctly over the 11-day tracking. You made approximately $11,000 over, 11 days? or Was this $11,000 over several months?
56 days
im in denver spent 7 hours n got 85 bucks.. had to get gas twice
Now.. thus is a realistic Uber day😂
Having to pay taxes at the end of the year is what the real problem is.
My dad does every day 150 to 500
If you do this, you to take in account the costs using your vehicle.
do you take every order?? in those 12 hours?
