This is the sort of video Peter Tyson should be making. Not full reviews but honest guidance on choices. Excellent.
Thank you! I will always cover new products fully when they release, more to show features than 'review' them. That's why I call them 'Overview & Features' and not reviews. I intend to have a good mixture of new products, comparisons like this one with the odd special video, perhaps talking to manufacturers or interviewing someone relevant. As long as nice people like you are watching I'll keep going and we'll find out what works. - John
Great review John, wish you has a shop down south
Unfortunately not so you can't listen first, we do ship all over the UK from the website though if that helps. You can return if you don't like your purchase within 30 days (at your cost). - John
Please review the superb sounding Wharfedale Aura 2 loudspeakers which I bought recently. Cheers!
Hello John, excellent presentation once again. I’d set my heart on the QA Concept 30 but you’ve put a spanner in the works with the Sonus Faber now. Any input from you would be much appreciated. I have QA 5040s, QA5090, Rel sub in conjunction with the Yammy A4A receiver. All channel stereo usually but also use surround sound. Cheers.
As much as I adore the Sonus Faber I'd recommend sticking to the QA for your front channels if you already have surrounds. If you mix manufacturers I find it sounds odd as movie effects pan across the speakers. - John
Thank you

What are the speaker stands for the monitors.
No gripe on any of these. But I just want to add I have enjoyed Monitor Audio speakers for years now. To me, the brand are easily in this league. thank you
I really like Monitor Audio, they feature in my other 2 comparison videos. I would have included the Gold 100 but they are £999, I included the Silver 200 instead last time. - John
Thank you John. They cost a bit more here in the States. The Silver 100's are about $1500. Best..DG@@Peter-Tyson
Nice presentation. Subscribed from Australia! @@Peter-Tyson
Do you sell Dynaudio?
I've bought the Lintons and a Panasonic oled from these guys and got the best service.
Glad to hear it! - John
My choice would probably be Sonus faber, my need for detail is already amply fulfilled by my Genelec monitors
Hello john ex audiophile here for 53 years please do some videos on tannoy dual concentric speakers as a general rule there amazing 🤩
Hello. We don't actually stock Tannoy speakers, we do stock Fyne Audio though, made by ex Tannoy engineers with dual concentric tweeters. I'm sure they'll pop up in a video at some point. - John

So John, I ask this question to you personally. How do you think the Beolab 8s compare to any of the speakers on this list?
I fully understand that I’m asking you to compare apples to oranges, but I love the design of B&O, but cannot find any genuine reviews of the 8s out there and I’m too far from a B&O dealership.
Honestly, if I was starting an audio system for myself judging on audio quality alone I would choose the Cyrus setup or something like a Naim Unity Atom and any of these speakers over Beolab 8. Particularly the B&W, Sonus Faber or the DALI. In fact my partner and I chose Cyrus and B&W 705 to use as our main system at home and she works for B&O! Our B&O kit now lives in the bedroom/office/kitchen. - John.
@@Peter-Tyson John, I can’t thank you enough for your honesty in this matter. I may consider some B&Ws and a nice amp instead of the Beolab 8s. And if/when I do decide, I’ll be sure to get what I can from Peter Tyson (so John, if your bosses are reading, you can demonstrate the value this channel brings in helping consumers decide and also generation of sales!)
Many thanks
@@Peter-Tysondo you have any recommendation for active speakers in this price range? I love wired speakers, but I’m trying to minimise on cables.
Sonetto II ... 💪👌
Dali minuet se are terrific or better still neat petite
They are indeed, awesome little speakers. - John
I think it would be better if you moved each speaker to an optimal position in the room for better understanding of what the speakers sound like.
When I'm listening I absolutely do that, I have them in the same spot for filming so I can do one morphing into another editing to show the relative size difference. - John
you sold me B&W 705 for £1299 and said they were far better than 6 series
You bought them, you mean.
7 series is better than 6 series ........????
British reviewer B&W
Typical
I also love the Sonus Faber (Italian) and DALI (Danish) ........... - John
