Torrential rains battered parts of Oahu, Hawaii, Monday after a wet weekend, inundating several roads, flooding vehicles and triggering landslides on major thoroughfares.
Video taken by several residents shows motorists navigating their cars through flood waters covering Kamehameha Highway in Waikane on Monday morning.
The downpour is expected to last over the next several hours. Additional flooding impacts are expected.

My son works in the Dept of Transportation…so he was out in it. But very normal …we waiting on a new front coming in tomorrow …so lots of water… but we love it!
When you overpopulate a island with many humans and vehicles, roads not able to handle especially during emergency this is what happens!
