Amazing lavender under the microscope!
Have you ever noticed that lavender leaves seem to have a little bit of fuzz on them? These are actually its soft hairs, which are very pleasant to the touch. When you touch the lavender leaves, the “juice” from the hairs gives off this wonderful fragrance. Look how mesmerizing it is!
Under magnification, you can see microscopic droplets among the hairs. The leaf cells are clearly shaped, evenly filled with intracellular fluid. The cell walls are denser than the inner contents.
