The fact that he was a "villain of the week" and a joke at first but then turned into a multiversal threat when he started to learn his powers makes him even more terrifying.
Yeah and now he's covered in his spots, so he's literally untouchable. If you tried to punch him your fist would just be teleported to the spot dimension or through another part of his body. He can fly and he can glitch out and grow more limbs. He can also give people visions, like he did to Miles and also has some sort of telekinesis in that vision he gave Miles. Truly a terrifying threat.

Spot is such a clever villain name. A spot is a little area, a thing you miss while cleaning or marking on a dalmatian.
If he was called "Void" or "Abyss" they might have realized what a problem he actually was. But he kept it lowkey and they missed a Spot.

Fun fact: The spot gets more powerful the more spots he get, which were originally black, he’s now all black say for his eye.

It’s crazy how he went from a city level threat I think into a multiverses threat in like just a day

Best way to create a villain.. make a nobody who thinks he’s somebody actually lose everything. Push them to the breaking point. That nerd turning into a monster is the best villain type-trope
As if his theme wasn’t already a horror. This is awesome
I love ATSV because I think a lot of people went into it, even ITSV enjoyers, kinda expecting a more kid-centric movie
the first one had dark moments but it was definitely more family friendly
and then uh...

I remember in the theater, people laughed at the "well that was another easy adventure for Spider-Man!"

theres a scene during the future vision miles and spot has where its miles and behind him seems to be a bunchhhhhh of spots like the entire screen is covered by figures that look like the spot
(Spoilers ahead) Maybe not, we learn that the Spot was created when the collider in the first movie was turned on by Spider-man and Miles, and we also learned Miles was never supposed to be bitten, the spider that bit him was taken from another universe, and if Miles was never bit then Into the Spiderverse would never have happened involving Miles. TL;DR. The Spot might just be a villian in Miles' universe because Miles shouldn't have gotten bit and therefore, not created Spot

This is great, One thing though. I wish you made the most creepiest part of the song louder. If you don't know what I mean by creepiest part of the song, I mean the part where Miles falls to the ground and flashes of light are around The Spot, Miles ask The Spot what was that and he says Our Future. I saw what you were trying to go for but I feel you could've extended it just a bit more like here at 1:00 I feel instead of going straight to the music for the final part where the Spot says
See you at home Spider Man. You could've replayed the most Scary part of the original song in here in that same tone, then play that same tone again for the final part, if you get what I mean. Obviously this is just an opinion. This was still a really good horror song.

You know what is the worst part? A lot of villains has motivations that are normally something to make the world better for themselves or other things that sometimes are dangerous to the hero or their loved ones, but the spot has one objective, destroy Miles making his life fall apart, he has a dangerous power of multiversal scale, and now that he saw what the future has for him, his main objective with such power, is just to kill one person, and he is really close to make that, and Miles so far to stop him

Assuming the Spot’s powers function on the same basis as standard reality benders, they could probably contain him with just a handful of Scranton Reality Anchors.
Alternatively, some of the more powerful iterations of the Foundation (such as the Multiversal Foundation Alliance featured in the Admonition Canin) might be able to trick him in to entering an artificial pocket dimension, then cut that dimension off from the rest of the multiverse.
Or maybe they could simply hit him with a couple of high-yield cognitohazards and fry whatever’s left of his mind. The whole point of the SCP Mythos having no canon is that you’re free to imagine any possibility you like.

kinda surprised it took so long for a guy with portal powers to become a popular and big time villain... well as kalenderman and kiteman shown (and to some degree quaman) it just needs a good writter and performance to bring out the best of the smallest of fries.

I like to think that spot's "holes" are not physical, but rather mental. He was laughed at and mocked, by everyone, lost everything he had, and didn't even get recognized for what he did.
