Aviation expert here. Well done Cleet. Folks please don’t try this at home. But if you have a capable airplane, appropriate skill, and the ability to practice safely then have fun.
The Carbon Cubs elevator doesn’t have the movement of most other tailwheel airplanes by design. It’s kind of how Corvettes for years were built so grandma could drive it without hurting herself. The gear mods you’ve done are good ones. Next you need some weight in the tail so you can have more elevator authority and keep the tail down under braking. That one stop was a bit sketchy.
To increase the descent rate without increasing airspeed use a forward slip. Get to love the forward slip as it also can help you see around the nose during the steep approaches and keep the landing point in sight.
    Good flying!

yeah, I dunno, this one seemed way sketchier then they were making it. Especially with the power line on approach, clearing it by a good way, but his descent angle was clearly way more aggressive than they probably thought it would be just looking from the ground. That bounce on the stop had me cringing bracing for something to go wrong. I'd honestly say this one was a risky biscuit even by Cleets standard.

The "circle-of-action" is the point on the ground that doesn't appear to be moving relative to your windshield (or another reference on your aircraft) during your approach. It's where you will hit the ground if you don't change anything (pitch/power). Set that circle-of-action short of your touchdown point to account for ground effect and wind affecting your float.
