@Butteredthanatoast Great! The estructure is very important than a strong motor. Your project, I believe, is a more professional than my. For select the motor you need a lot of attention... 1) what the size of pieces you will make with that lathe? 2) what command control you use for speed control? 3) wells for rpm? My project, 1/4hp, motor well 2”, spindle well 3,5”... my limit piece size 7” diameter.

Olá @MrBasslayer2 tudo bem? Não se trata de ter dinheiro para comprar, este é o segredo que poucos sabem. Quando gostamos de trabalhos manuais a construção é a essência de tudo. Eu tenho um torno mecânico, Serra de bancada, fita e outras ferramentas elétricas que não vem ao caso. Recebemos inspirações e compartilhamos ideias/projetos para retribuir as inspirações que recebemos. De qualquer forma vou deixar a dica. Já que você não tem muitas ferramentas lembre-se que: compre sempre as melhores e terás para sempre. Grande abraço!
