- Video footage of my 1997 Dodge B3500 van with the Coachmen conversion. An effective machine for both boon dock camping or normal campground hookups. This van hopefully will get me around the U.S. and Canada this summer. See more of the van in my other videos from the trip on my channel.
The older Van's like that are actually better than the Van's of today. If you could integrate today's technology with the aesthetic of yesteryear, that would be cool. Today's vans just look like a big box. This rig is very nice. Thank you for the tour.👍👍👍
I have a 1996 Great West Van conversion on a Dodge frame w/318 ci. Gets 18 mpg. It's the perfect rig for a couple and a dog. Last summer (2022) we took it across Canada and back to BC without a problem. Had so enjoyment, I'm thinking of doing it again (summer 2023) Thank you for your tour!
I appreciate your comments. Keep hitting the road, I would love to do another tour myself!
We have a 1994 Dodge B350 van that was originally converted by Great West Vans. I am real happy with mid teens mileage considering the weight of these land yachts.Everything still works fine and the van rides great for it's age. We didn't go far the last couple years(obviously) but in 2022 I managed quite a few trips.
What a great van. It looks like you keep it in great shape and functioning. I also like the 90's interior decor. Im not a fan of sparkly new and modern. I like the home comfort feel and for me this van has that. You have everything you need and more all packed into a van. Thats awesome.
I appreciate your comment. Thank you
i totally agree, bob! i love the vibe of this van
Very nice tour. & good looking 'home'. Thank you
Enjoyed the video. You got a great ride there. Thanks and stay safe.
Thank you for your comment!
cool video dude i love the van!
Very cool van!
Thank you for your comment!
I had a chance to buy one of those B model vans sometime ago something that I've been wanting for a long time and I dragged my feet and lost it. Man I regret that you can't beat those type of campers! But I'll keep looking
Look around in Florida, that's where I got this one. There seems to be some availability in that state.
Beautiful. I'm short,so I coul it on one of the benches :). Smart use of space to put the TV at the front
I like how this roadtrek is set up. It's different from my 1998 roadtrek 170. But I know that this one is a bit longer than mine. But I'm into the roadtreks because they're unusual and unique.
Hi Shawn, cool last name btw.....this van is a coachmen conversion, not the roadtrek, which I think the roadtrek versions are more valuable and nicer.
That’s a nice van appreciate you sharing I just subscribed I follow for more camping is my nature
Very nice for for the age of the unit it’s very nice you’re blessed. And you’ll have to put money in it once in a while but what people don’t understand is you have to do that with a brand new one
I, just bought a 97, Dodge Ram 2500 conversion high top van
Nice love it I just found one like this
While on the road working, something like this would be nice. Camping for a weekend? Sure.
I can not imagine someone living and cooking in this thing.
ya that paper towel idea is ingenious. never seen that before.
yeah, no script, plan, or production was used with this video. I agree the narration is weak. It was the first and only take.
Exactly what I want 🥰
Very nice!!
Nice cruiser.
Nice I have a 23' Gulf Stream and I need to down size what you have would be just right.
They can be hard to find. I had to go to Florida to get this one
Thanks
Class of 95 😂👍
I like it. It's got character. Do you still have it?
yes I do....I'd like to go on another road trip too.
Where did you get the shades for the windshield and front doors at?
That white shade came with the van. I'd bet it is original. Not sure where to get one. I could look and see if it has a brand when I pull it back out from winter storage
I got one of these for cheap low miles but the utilities haven't been used in a while and i dont know shit about these how do i test it all?
just get out and do some camping, you'll learn along the way. Good people at the campsites can help you and keep watching some videos on class b living. you'll be OK
Love Love your camper van, best way to live, the cost of living is sky rocket 🚀 in a house or mobile home, I got a four hundred and eleven dollar water bill, go have it turned off can't afford to pay it, go get my water supply at krogers those big water bottles, and use a potty chair with plastic bags in the bowl of it, then toss the bag in a leaf bag, then a friend go haul the trash to the dump.
This was three years ago, do you want to sell it yet?
Everything is for sale, make an offer
@@jmy02d i wouldn't know honestly, i do appreciate the quality of it, not a rich woman, nothing wrong with having goals. So ,you look like an honest man, so how much you got into it?
nice van I really like the small pump on your drinking water where you get it?. aren't you concerned w/ some asshole running off w/ the shore power cord like those are kindof expensive. I have a simiarl van 1st night I sleep in it I banged my head on the rear AC a few times, your cabinets look kindof shape on the edges did they leave a mark?I really liked the part of you finishing of a fly & the sweatie feet. very funny. nice video
Thanks for your comments. The water storage I picked up on Amazon I believe. They work pretty good. Yes the edges of the cabinets can hurt you if you're not careful for sure. Enjoy the other videos I have of the van on the journeys I've taken.
This is great! I'm a travel nurse and I have just purchased a Coachmen conversion of a Dodge Ram Van 3500B VERY similar to this. My problem is the "extremely" generic manual. Your walkaround introduced me to a couple of things that I didn't know I had. Thank you! You seem so knowledgeable and I am having a difficult time with the electrical components. Where is your breaker panel located? And the propane shut off/on for the stove?
The propane shut off for the whole system is underneath the van side entry doors. The stove shut off for the stove may be right underneath the burners, you can take the covers off but I can't remember if there's a shut off valve there. Best to turn off whole system. The fuse panel is underneath the bench seats in the middle of the van. You also have fuses in the glove box and under the hood. You'll get good at fixing your van if you work on it yourself and have patience. Good luck and I'm happy to help. Mine is in storage right now for the winter!
i guess it is kinda randomly asking but do anyone know a good website to watch newly released tv shows online ?
@Tanner Jake Flixportal :D
@Arian Ares Thanks, I went there and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :D I appreciate it !!
@Tanner Jake you are welcome :)
Nice cute little thing if you can't afford a real camper.
Without an indoor shower it's worthless.
For those that smell bad maybe
Walk through? You can't walk through a class b ......sorry
I do and I'm 6'+ and we're only 19ft long too. Class B's get you places the larger ones don't.
I do .. I have no problem at all.. not as much room inside as a class A . But I get around 16 mpg..
I got 3k for it
Why offer so much $$?
